- The Wave Cave is a popular short hike located in the Superstition Mountains east of Phoenix near Gold Canyon, AZ. This hike starts at the Carney Springs trailhead and is very easy to follow.

Just passed by there on Thursday using the drainage as a short cut to intersect the Ridgline Trail for 5057. Such a cool cave!
funny you say that, I actually looked at the map and thought "looks like I could just walk up the drainage to cut off the ridgeline"
@HikingEngineer IMO. it's better than going up Carney Springs. I bet you would like it. Nothing crazy, mild bouldering and scrambling to where you exit to hit the Ridgeline trail.
