I just wanna say on average, when I CONSUME CONTENT I'm fairly dead panned trying to extract an iota of value. But I've just been grinnin ear to ear to start this one off. Equal parts woke up on the right side of the bed and good Eggs.

Not saying its a 100% pick rate card, but he picked it ONCE in all of the videos (that i remember) The point is not "this card is good he should pick it". The point is that he doesn't consider other possibilities, he keeps picking the same cards in every situation and skips the ones he deems unworthy for whatever reason. But like i said, he is getting better.

Idk what it is with watcher but with his watcher runs he always ends his turn with energy while still being able to play cards, constantly playing in the wrong order, missing lethal so many times to the point where he dies becauss of it, his aversion of picking anything related to stance dancing despite having 5 ways to enter calm and refuses to take a second wrath enabler. He somehow did better in his older runs because he just used whatever cards he got handed. I became a type A chatter, i cant believe it
Archetypes exist and should be held in mind but unless you get really lucky you can't be building towards archetype moat of the time, especially on high ascension. You take the card because it will make it more likely that you survive next fight not because it's a part of a Poison build or Watcher infinite. That being said NL has more fundamental problems that building towards the archetype especially as most of the time his deckbuilding seems to have little rhyme or reason 😂
It is impressive how his A20 run decks are worse than his A1-A10 decks. multiple Fastings, multiple wish, windmill strikes, alpha, a bunch of garbage block. The worst habits in a Watcher player ive seen😭
The deck quality is pretty much the same on average, he won plenty of runs with terrible decks cuz the only boss he had to fight was donu deca. Whats more impressive to me is that hes played this much and hasnt improved at all. But like he said in the video, he doesnt need to play well or improve, because he can just keep bashing his head into it until he highrolls his win
@@momoaaI feel like he has developed worse habits as he’s progressed. He’s playing way too passively and has certain cards he now always picks even though they’re really bad. At least early on he was more open to experimentation and leaning into Wrath/Calm (or even Divinity). Now its just picking every single block card and relying on his relics to carry him
Oh NL, your failiures are always because you take risky relics. The second you take Neow's Lament your fights make it to Act 3... please take the better opener decisions.
I'm not a Slay the Spire pro or anything, but isn't the Watcher the character that needs an energy relic the least? Having the guaranteed turn 1 miracle and ex-machina seems like it would make having 4 innate energy less important. Feel free to correct me I'm genuinely asking.
With over twenty cards in the deck it's a bit of a wishful thinking and even if you get it you spend all energy on it and do not kill anything and get bonked on the head by the enemy. Even upgraded it's only 56 damage with Akabeko so it does not kill most enemies in Act II and that is even disregarding multiple enemy fights.
disliking the video everytime he makes a mistake (plays wrong card or forgets to play all attack before exiting stance) from playing too fast. he has to learn eventually
I knew we were in for a treat at 2:11 when he played that Fear No Evil before Strike for lethal.
