    I can't help but feel happy for him and other people who went through that surgery. It sucks to be short, so I'm so glad we live in a time where this is even an option! You guys are amazing for making this happen!

    Why does it still feel little bit unnatural? Is it in my head or what?

    • @Aden_III
      @Aden_III ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course it’s unnatural, it’s height surgery. The reason you feel it’s off is because a lot of people have short arms or long torsos and aren’t proportionate

      I see it too, in the way he moves right? I can't really put my finger on it but I feel a lil uneasy.

      Yes the gait changes. The posture/gait doesn't go back to its original state. There is some change.

      Yes, he looks a bit goofy. But we would've to see how he moved beforehand. His body language seems goofy even when standing

    Ma'am if I am 5'4, and I want to be may be 5'9, 5'10 it depends I think, but, wouldn't be my hand would be smaller like my fingers and all? My feet?

  • @peppesgabello

    Probably his athletic abilities went back this good because of just 6cm instead of 8cm. 2cm can change a lot in your muscles but not that much as a perceived height. Always go for the safe side, I don't think he would be able to do those stuff with 10 or 9cm (of course it depends on the person) but 6 is a lot of height btw, it's over 3inches more if you consider your height with shoes on, so 171+6+ 2cm shoes you get nearly to 180 which is considered tall

    • @johnnypinkleton9410
      @johnnypinkleton9410 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Not worth it imo. Just go for 8,9, or 10 or you might regret it

    • @mattiaerrichiello4148
      @mattiaerrichiello4148 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Ok but there are many successfull story of patients Who lenght 9/10cm , maybe it isn't so impossible, in fact i dont think that the doctor let do so much lenghtening to his patients

    • @peppesgabello
      @peppesgabello ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @@johnnypinkleton9410 you might regret not being able to do athletic stuffs. You see people usually after 1y post po and they can walk normally, they say they're 100% but they can't run properly or bend over and stuff like that. If you're ok with 10cm over some basic athletic abilities it's ok, but even after 10y I think that 10cm on the femur won't let you be the best even if you get back 100% (biomechanically speaking femur has way more disadvantages even if it's the only bone who can be lengthened that much)

    • @peppesgabello
      @peppesgabello ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mattiaerrichiello4148 Sicuramente, ma la verità è che loro si sentono al 100% senza esserlo, 10cm compromettono notevolmente la biomeccanica dell'individuo ed il suo baricentro, se una persona ha davvero un femore cortissimo o lui è molto basso di natura (prendi Sedat che era 157) allora lì il corpo riesce anche ad adattarsi perché sei comunque in una safe zone. Quando sei 170 e sei proporzionato, seppure ''basso'' e metti 10cm sul femore, non credo tu possa mai ritornare al 100% anche se va tutto benissimo

    • @gj9157
      @gj9157 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      8cm is completely safe for most people. Some of the best doctors in the U.S have stated this various times. If one is willing to fork out 20-100k for CLL, then you should at least get the most out of it. Not 10cms though..

  • @reardelt
    @reardelt 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    When he is doing his squat, he is bending his back. I think that's because his squat mechanics has changed because of femur lengthing. It's more difficult to do a squat

    • @mkovis8587
      @mkovis8587 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes, but we would need a comparison on how he squatted before surgery. Average people have trouble squatting anyway. If he had perfect squat before and now it looks like that, it'd be concerning.

    • @peppesgabello
      @peppesgabello ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It won't be that noticeble. I don't recommend you to do that much in terms of lengthening. You're tall in most countries and you're around 185 in shoes. If u really think it's worth, get 6cm on the femur so you will be around 190 in shoes which is really tall (everything over 185 is referred as ''gigantism'' in modern medicine).
