@@bledard_podcast I firmly believe that when you enter the state of mind "suicidal" that you no longer have rational thoughts. You don't think about anything but the pain and how to get rid of it. If letting go is the only way, then you cannot focus on how the outcome will be for another person.

This was extremely hard for me to watch and it made me cry hard....my cousin committed suicide last year, she didn't leave a note and her daughter found her!! She was a beautiful person, never acted depressed, and was always smiling. A year later and everyone is still asking "why", suicide is hard for anyone to get over and its something you never forget.

This video and Logic's 1-800 helped me today. Last night I lost my grandpa. He was facing recovery from a stroke and covid and during rehab, it got worse. Adter hearing the news, the thoughts slowly filled my head and I was extremely close to suicide. Bit watched your breakdowns and how passionate you were about the songs and it opened me up to being able to talk to people rn cuz all I wanna do is shutdown and disappear. So thank you Shaq. I just wanted to say.... long story short im only seeing my kids 2 hours a week for the past 2 years and today after my visit with them I really got caught up in my demons and lashed out at my mom in a way because I bottled alot of pain and suffering.... naturally somehow found this song and wanted to see YOU react to it just to see your perspective on more intense songs, and after I heard you say " make someone smile everyday " I went and hugged my mom and told her everything was going to be okay and that I let the demons grab hold of me, but I would never be anywhere without her. I truly have convinced myself I am better off dead but I always hold on to the thought that I have a life long job as a father now. I'm one of those people who have struggles with major depression and suicide due to losing both my parents to cancer and having witnessed my mother take her last breath on this earth. Fall 2017, I was going to become a young father at 21 years old. Weeks later I was messing around with other girls. Yup I'll take any words from y'all. I gotten so many.
