It's a wonderful thing to extend the life and usability of our old beloved machines with new tech! BTW you said "plethora", funny 'coz the other day I was told not to use such words for our corporate communication, too obscure language for the marketing and sales peeps...
Yes, and there's so much new tech that's come on stream. Notably the storage and cartridges that really change the load/archive times of games. This converter covers quite a few machines (note I didn't use, "plethora," there ;-) ) I just wish they would take it commercial.
Great video, I like the picture in picture. I remember BBC's from when I was in school. Many years ago I used to have an Acorn Electron which I think is basically a less powerful BBC, I used to love playing Killer Gorilla, CItadel, and many other games on it.
Yes, the Electron was missing mode 7 and a few other things, but still a decent machine. I want to complete Citadel... after I've become Elite on the Tube version, of course :-D
Thank you for great video. I’m a little confused with RGBtoHDMI input connection and options boards and I’m not sure what do I need to connect Spectrum YUV signals to this board? I have only the RGBtoHDMI with no other options (analog etc) and it’s working properly with my PI zero…
I'm afraid that I only know about the BBC Micro. The creators are on the StarDot forums and the best place to ask is probably this thread - stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14430&hilit=hdmi - in which a fair number of questions have been asked already and it goes back four years. The question you have, has probably already been answered.

Looking forward to experience this. Boots up very quickly and HDMI signal live very quickly after turning on the beeb. Wow!

Hey what's up how have you been
Hi can you tell me where you got the rgb to hdmi converter for the beeb?
I built it from the schematics and provided software - msknight.com/bbc/rgbtohdmi.html - th-cam.com/video/l1ZV8XTgzZo/w-d-xo.html
Your best bet for buying one is to go onto the StarDot forums and in the 8 bit hardware section, ask if anyone is selling any.
...it all sounds like Greek to me these days - lol
