  • The all-new Flag Pole Weight Anchors from DSI are designed to lock your carriage bolts securely inside your flag pole so they don’t fly out when you spin and don’t clank against the inside of the pole when you catch the flag.

    I wonder what dci guards use for their top weight and bottom weight?

      It usually depends on the silk and how heavy it is (which is based on size and the amount of sewing stitches it has). Typically they will use a 3" on top and 1.5" on the bottom or 4" on top and a 2" on the bottom.

    Is there a standard weight that is normally used in a flag pole by most people? Is 3 and 1.5 the common weight?

    • @dshowcase

      Yes, the 3 and 1.5 are common for indoor and sometimes people move up to the 4 and 2 for outdoor to keep the flags steady in the wind.

    Does the silk go on the heavier or lighter end?

      The silk goes on the heavier end of the flag pole.

    This makes it seems like it is incredibly easy to insert the anchors, but I have not been able to insert mine. They don't fit on my pole

    Is there another way to not make the nail make so much noise without a weight anchor?

    • @dshowcase
      @dshowcase  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately no. That is why we created this system 🙂

    Do the weight anchors change the weight at all?

    • @dshowcase
      @dshowcase  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes ... the weight anchors weigh a few ounces and should be put into both ends of the pole. You add the different length carriage bolts to add more weight to each end of the flag pole.

      Emily Schirle i know this is really late but i personally like to cut my weights in half from what i’m used to (i.e: i’m used to using 4” and 2 1/2” bolts, but with the anchors i use 3” and 1 1/2”)

    I don’t understand. My anchor slides down the flag pole rather than staying tightly inside the flag pole. And yes, I am using a DSI flag pole.

    what is the diameter of anchor?

    • @dshowcase
      @dshowcase  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The weight anchors are approximately 1 inch in diameter. They are designed to fit inside the DSI aluminum flag poles.
