I am about to buy a 2000 for 1500 dollars 153000 miles.I need a vehicle my Yukon was stolen.I don't know much about these but it runs good transmission already rebuilt.
153k and a transmission rebuilt i would say you are good for another 150k. If you don’t have a transmission fluid cooler i would get one . Other than that you should be fine with regular maintenance. Yes the 3.5 loves oil use a full synthetic. I have a 95 limited 3.2 and a 2000 3.5 both are daily drivers.

That’s a good deal, specially now that used cars are so expensive. I really havnt had any issues with mine. It just burns oil! Good luck
