I went on the one at kings island, it’s slightly different, the interior doors are glass and the outer doors are red, it also used Adams survivor fixtures. I think it runs slightly faster and doesn’t have rickety doors. Luckily due to social distancing requirements I was able to get the elevator empty without other guests onboard which was nice for the video.
5:17 that was me when i was little! I am now 12 and I knew who Arron and Jeff and dieselducy were.I actually operated the elevator at kd from 2016-2019 and I still do in 2021 the spiel is very fun doing nowadays because not many kids can do that.Larry is my friend btw so that’s how I could operate and click the buttons and do the spiel!
That looks like an awesome park! I also happen to live in an area that has a Cedar Fair park (Minnesota). We have Valleyfair here. Looks like King's Dominion is a lot bigger than what we have here with Valleyfair.
This video gave me so much anxiety😂😂😂😂 I had to put my phone down and watch because it felt like I was gonna drop my phone from the tower. The part where you recorded through the bars😂 nice video! Its crazy how the coasters out there look SO SMALL from up there
When I first saw the title, I thought you were in France ! XD This is a very nice copy, with nice elevators, but the original tower in France is much better (built in 1889).
+The French Elevator Channel Hello from the US! Haha, sorry to get your hopes up, but I am still here in Virginia xD! And yes, your tower is much better. This one is a 1/3 scale replica of the original Eiffel Tower.
thewildeeper Hahaha XD Yeah, I would be very surprised if you were in France :p By the way, do you plan to come to France sometime ? I'm sure you would love our European elevators ! And yes, I've already noticed that XD ! The French Eiffel tower is much higher, the trip in an elevator is much longer.
I went on that elevator and freaked out when we got to the very top and I never knew that I would be so afraid to go up and see the view and I was but all I could think of was it falling down😳🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Not sure what brand the ones are at Kings Island in thier eifel tower but, to note not sure if you know or have ever been but, I know at least one of the elevators in the space needle replica in Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a Hausshahn. These here look like they will hold the same capacity of people as the one at Kings Island. I have never been to Kings Dominion but, would love to go sometime to see what its like. I have only been to Kings Island usually get to go there once a year.
+427 Elevating Productions Cool! I think I passed through Gatlinburg once, but I missed the space needle. I wonder if there's a video of it? *goes to look* Update: turns out TJ (of all people) has a video of the Gatlinburg Tower. It's a very unique elevator- and I bet you're right that it's a Hausshahn too!
I have seen a few vids of it. I rode the one in the front there is a elevator located in the front and one in the back not sure about it but, the front is Haushahn I remember seeing the sign in it few years back when I rode up didn't have a way of doing a video. I know I sure didn't care for riding because of the way it sounded going up. The eifel towers at Kings Dominion and Kings Island don't sure make hardly any noise going up and down.
www.flickr.com/photos/22408aaron/19882966974/in/dateposted-public/ I have a picture of the logo here. It also says "Intamin" who manufactured the Eiffel Tower at KD and KI, and has also manufactured a lot of popular amusement park rides (including the Volcano and the Drop Tower). Go figure. Haushahn is now part of Schindler though.
I went to King's Island but didn't go on the Eiffel Tower, my family most likely didn't know you could go on top, or most likely thought it was a waste of time.
Seems odd the each elevator each serve only one of the top decks. It would seem sensible to have made them serve both floors, even if that did not happen in regular operation.
+thewildeeper Square D specializes in heavy duty electrical supplies. They also manufacture these buttons. A lot of things use these buttons. The control boards on the rides at KD also use them.
Square D isn't just for elevators, as 22408aaron eluded to, they make fixtures for all kinds of machinery that need heavy duty controls that can take a lot of abuse. They are more known for electrical equipment, including breaker boxes, and breakers.
Always Wanted To Go There.
And Carowinds.
Fancy music.
"Here comes the elevator, let's go get on it." " sure"
It’s been a long time since I made my old account and I watch this video

I'm super close to California's Great America haha
I hate when you have to wait in line for an elevator
It’s barely a line, doesn’t take very long.

No international trips planned at the moment, but I would like to start planning one! And if I come to France, I know who I can contact!
The French Elevator Channel

Can you stay up there for as long as you want?
Yes you can, until the park closes!
Yep!

The elevators at King's Island look the same as the ones at King's Dominion.
Aweeee memories.... I was about 10 or 11 the last time I was there with my family.. 38 now.. would get on this now... shittttdddddd
I went to King's Island but didn't go on the Eiffel Tower, my family most likely didn't know you could go on top, or most likely thought it was a waste of time.

Where is this place at?
+Chris Nicholas Kings Dominion, in Doswell VA. It is about 50 miles south of Washington DC.
Ok. You know, there's another Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Where is the Brady Bunch? Lol.. Anyone seen that episode where they went to this park? :)
Kings island in Cincinnati Ohio, I filmed the elevator in that tower. Several rides shown in that episode are still there today.
@@patricknedz .. Do you remember how the cast was when you were around them? Just curious

I've been there but never filmed the elevators there.
THere's also one in King's Island in Mason Ohio about 4 hours where I live. Mason is about 15 20 minutes east of Cincinnati
Square D fixtures.
+georgef551 I think I'll just count on you to tell me the fixture line from here on out, if it's one I don't know :)
