I'm so glad she said Carmen. I really wish she didn't leave. But good to know her contract expired and great to know that her and Kate (Shane) really did have great chemistry even off set!!! :)

Is it me or does their personalities are exactly the same in real life as even in the show ! It's not even like they were acting really just being themselves in the show lol it's awesome
I think they may have been asked to do that. If you've seen them in other interviews, some of them do act different. For example Kate Moennig has a little less of that air of Shane than she has here and Leisha Hailey's voice sounds completely different, it's not high-pitched like Alice's. Some do seem to have similar personalities but I think it's an insult to these amazing actors to say they weren't really acting.
I didn;t notice that. I think they are very different from their characters. But thats just my opinion
I always felt like they were playing archetype versions of themselves. Just exaggerated. Do I believe KM is like Shane absolutely but not as promiscuous.

I don't blame the interviewer for being that way, if I was the interviewer and Kate Fucking moennig was in front of me- I'd be the same.

I didn’t get the Shane attraction, but Katherine’s look and confidence here is hot lol I think once Shane toned down and starting wearing T shirts and had better haircuts is when it started to show
the part about Carmen made me sob because I love when my favorite couple get along so well off screen too! and the cast loved them too! and good to know they wouldn't of ended if not for her contract not getting renewed!

Actually it was Ilene Chaken who didn't renew the contract for Shahi. That's why Chaken said "something like that" in here and Moennig only knows that the contract is done. Shahi had stated in an interview that she didn't get any offer to renew the 2 years contract. That was a stupid move while Shahi thankfully got offers from everywhere. Fans would love to see Sharmen resolved.

Love Kate so much! I wish Carmen would have been around longer.
Carmen may return to the Q Generation next season by the end of this Year, I really hope that she and Shane could have a stable relationship for this time。

When IC said 'I think there's some romance in it' and Kate's like 'Maybe. but..' before IC said 'not in real life' - did Kate think IC was referring to Kate and Sarah not their characters? Haha. They had MAD chemistry though. Favorite L Word couple hands down. I refuse to believe Sharmen didn't end up together... off screen... after season 6 :p

seriously they should just do another the L word fuck it new contracts new women bring shane and carmen of course for sure and do it fuck it evryone was and still obsessed with this fuckin show.. i mean im 24 and i used to watch this when i was a teen and ive watchd it several times and i knw many still do or at least try to find videos on youtube to feel like it didn end seriously show time would win so much money lesbians guys and straight women like this show just do it.
