      Hey red I race a lot of dirt on Nascar Heat 5 and I only race the slide bar and stages. During the pitting between stages I’m having trouble figuring out how the right side tire pressures affects the dirt cars. As far as the
      R/F, R/R and the wedge. I just want to know what it affects so I can know what and how to adjust???
      Thanks. Awesome videos!

    Your Setups are Great Red. However, The Real Fast Plate guys are Just as fast on a 4×s 50% race. Not Saying You but alot of the guys moan about plates just because the cant compete with us on them. They say numbers. Only about 7 of us. I know there's way bigger groups. We always tell everyone to jump off the porch and come get it since it's so easy, also. Plate,road course and dirt tracks are the only legit all time boards on the game. All the rest are Wall Banging and no gas runs. Not a knock on whoever figured it out but it goes both ways. I think your a great racer and its awesome you making these videos for the community. Awesome job man. Sincerely,Welch.

    That's exactly what they don't tell you, they will say this is the fastest set up, but the tires will not last a fuel run. I see them jacking the tire pressure to 60 and the camber to 8, yea its fast but it won't last.

    Is there an order you make adjustments in? As in, "ok I plugged in my base setup and now I want it to do *x* so I always start with springs, then shocks, then track bars, etc"?

    • @Wrongway1965
      @Wrongway1965 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      One thing I can suggest is, when you're tweaking a setup for a specific track, always save your setups BEFORE you make changes.. that way, after you're 4th beer, you just reload, burp! & your off again..

    Mr. Arnold, thank you for taking the time to do these. It is a great help for someone that is not very mechanical. But I have a question for you. What is the best way or how should I go about setting up my car when I run in a league with some guys that we do not run custom setups. We can move the slider bar in the garage but other than that all we can do is in the race with wedge, grille tape, and tire pressure. And we run with 50% race and x2 tire wear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And I am on a controller for now. Will be using a wheel just can not buy one yet. Thank you again from all us newbies. Stay safe and God Bless.

      Mark Winkle go to setting and the second tab you can adjust difficulty . Once you move it anything from stock it becomes “ custom.” Change something and save it . You’re now in custom mode and can change setups .

      It almost like a in race sensitivity if that makes sense. It is the degrees your tires will turn basically. Easiest way to really feel the difference is go in a quick race and Jack it all the way up, then drive it. Then lower it without touching the setup at all and feel the difference.
