Cool. How does it flex craig? If you had to pick.between this or a chilli mid strength which would you get? Im guessing youd almost get 2 chillis for the price of this right?
Would be interesting to know how much extra it costs to buy a Dark Arts board - that extra cost vs durability vs how different it rides. Also how hot does a black board get when just sitting waiting for a wave?
Well, they don’t get hot sitting waiting in the water for a wave - but I wouldn’t leave it in the sun in your car for a whole day! They do cost a bit more, and they’ll be available in Aus later in the year so pricing is tbc.
@the surfboard guide hi mate🤟 can you give your opinion regarding floatation ability of the dark art comperring to other eps techs such as ff by hayden or light speed by lost?do they float the same neaning much more then pu? a freind of mine told me to go extra liter + then my normal volume...🙏
@@eyalpolishook6486 that's one for Craig. I have had a few EPS boards from different brands. One was a fish and I went up slightly in volume. One was a small wave performance board and I stuck to middle of my range. One was an uber grovel board and I went up 3 litres. They all worked fine. Really depends on the board type. Have a litre range and don't overthink it.
When you want to try something completely different put a pair of red S-wing 520 twins into that board. Never mind using trailers or quad rears and ride it in smaller waves and you'll be stoked.
I need the review of the christenson OP1
Haha! I actually might need to revisit that…
What’s it like with large quad trailers and medium fronts?
I'm sure it'd be good - that's a common setup I use with medium AM fronts, and the Am2 tech flex trailers.
Hi Craig, do you have any plans on reviewing the churro 2?
Yes - got one in Twin Tech last week ✌️

Hey! To be honest I didn't really notice flex...
Picking between the two, I don't think I could.
Would love a mid-strength in Dark Arts...

I spoke to this s-wings guys about some fins, reminds me I should get back to them…
Looks like the HI mid 6
Is that a bit fuller/rounder through the nose?
