I was starting to worry about you Glad you're still putting out quality content just noticed you added three new videos today I just found out about them going to watch them tomorrow I have had the TV on all day watching your library I'm already back two years Saw the one of strasburg and you had a picture of a sign for virtual real fan we have a camera not too far from Orlando along the Florida East Coast railroad Cocoa Cam hopefully see some good shots of bright line when they start running. Really love your videos from Philly on the SEPTA especially the ones that go past Croydon so does my lady friend she used to play on that as a kid lived in that neighborhood off to the right but been in Orlando since 1966 she loves your videos too
@Retired railfan horn guy another great video but have you heard that KCS merged with the Canadian Pacific to form a new railroad: CPKC. They merged together on April 14 2023.
I took the Silver Meteor down to Orlando over the winter. I was in the Tombigbee river sleeper car which is the one you got in the shot lol. It's the first VL2 sleeper in the consist.
Loving the videos. Was on 42/43 last week for the Dodgers vs Pirates series. Had P42 130 as our lead on 43. Got some great shots of it in Pittsburgh. Saw ACS 642 "Veterans unit" on a protect out in Harrisburg. Lots of good railfanning also with CSX, NS and some of the regional freight railroads. Got a tour of the Buffalo and Pittsburgh yard and some of their locomotives while on a tour of the town with some local cops I know out there...
Good afternoon from Orlando Florida. I saw this Harry Potter train on my Google news feed yesterday I am like you never have seen a Harry Potter movie lol but the train looks cool. Watching this video on the big screen TV I think within the last 3 weeks I have probably gone through 1/3 of your video library really enjoy your channel. Everyone down here really excited about Brightline but that Amtrak Acela still impresses the hell out of me
Watching your return trip to New York City on NJT both of these are outstanding I guess I'm going to have to continue through your library see if I can find something I haven't watched. Some of them are so good I've watched them twice. I know that's not your region but that would be cool The quality of your videos and the descriptions you give would really be cool if you somehow could fly down to Orlando airport and catch bright line to Miami that would be awesome. Incredible job you are doing
Your train crossed over from 3-4 at Delco Interlocking which is just west of County. Generally it is the better move because it is an 80mph crossover there, as opposed to 45mph at County. Unfortunately that extra speed is meaningless when they hold you at County anyways for a slocal that is crossing over the whole plant.
@@3985uprr No worries. I just wanted to help update the repertoire haha. Delco was added when they replaced the signal system between County and Ham, for crossing over 3-4, and Adams Interlocking at 56:50 does the same thing for 1-2 moves. Hopefully they can build the flyover they originally planned to build for the new North Brunswick station, it would eliminate the need for Jersey Avenue locals to clog up the railroad at County.
Tim, Are you aware of the fact that Amtrak has ordered a fleet of dual mode locomotives to eliminate engine changes in Washington, D. C. Also, the new management of the MBTA in Boston wants to start converting their commuter rail system to electric. They'd like to start with Providence, hopefully by the end of 2024. The line already has catenary. I think they'd lease some electric locomotives from Amtrak.
I wonder if Jimmy Hoffa is somewhere near that stretch NEC. I know some folks claim that Jimmy is in the end zone in GIANTS STADIUM. One individual said that Jimmy's under GW Bridge on Jersey side. I have ridden on train 97 to Orlando an 91 twice 98 once. I hoping I'll get to go down to Florida this year for R&R even if I just take train down and take it back. \

I believe he may still do 174 and 2167. He usually blows the horn. If he knows you’re there ahead of time, he’ll really blow the horn.
Would be nice if Amtrak could some how get their rolling stock through the wash more than what they do now.

Would be nice if the carwash in Sunnyside worked again, but it has been out of service since 2017.

67mph avg for a “crack” train is no big deal. 😊
It’s actually a little slower than that but it’s still better than 60 miles an hour and I don’t know many other commuter rails that can do that.
