Love WaW. Less fuckery in this game compared to newer ones, even MW2 2009. 3-kill UAVs keep the pacing fast even on a game with such large maps. You could in theory camp with camoflauge but at a disadvantage in gun fights with stopping power and jugg so the game was balanced in that way. Wish they brought back this simple format in cods. less is more in a lot of ways

WaW Hardcore S&D was the first proper game mode where I started to go from a casual player to a competitive. Such a vibe playing it back in the day, there was nothing quite like it using the gewehr and m1a1 carbine spawn shotting across the map on seelow, upheaval and roundhouse spring to mind first when I think about it… good times🥳
