The game showed points lost and gained at the end there and I did the math for you. If you didn't kill those dogs you would have finished with 74,980 points. That last shot was clutch man.
The points lost (-2270) wouldn't have counted towards that anyway as the achievement is for 75k points gained. You're still correct though, if he didn't hit that last shot he wouldn't have got the 20 points needed. (50 per hit, another 50 for the kill, 2 dogs)

World at War dogs are very buggy btw so it’s not just you that struggle with them, like instead of regenerating health instantly, you regenerate very slowly so it takes about 8 seconds to recover from a dog bite
it actually has to do with the math of the regen plus the damage the dogs did. while they may take 3 hits to kill you, they leave you with something like 5 hp so getting hit by them twice would mean you have to regenerate almost all your health which takes a lot of time. with zombies its almost exactly half hp worth of damage so you only have to heal half hp

Im not a zombies guy but playing WAW zombies was always fun and I loved the mystery/horror vibe from each of the maps. The music was fire as well. Cant wait to play the game again and get the achievements on my series x (my modern account).
got this years ago with a friend in private match. he got the wunderwaffe and i got the mg42, forget what the secondary's were. we just camped the corner near the door to storage. never opened the door so we only had to focus straight ahead and the one window behind. we both bought the bouncing betties and would place them ever max ammo in the corner near the storage door or the other little dead end in the same room, as a place to panic and run to if needed. really just took alot of time to do, even with being able to pause during split screen.
Yep I have heard this! I got all the der riese achieves in 3 player co op and I definitely got carried hard.. will be doing them again some time! Not sure if solo or not but will do another video for the other zombies achievements
Any plans to do CoD Black Ops? I've played through recently and am now no Zombies but am struggling with the buy every weapon on a map. Will be playing WaW soon so will be interested to see if the original Zombies mode is easier or harder or around the same.
Yep, for sure! on black ops im just missing a couple of single player bits then all of the zombies. Not sure when i'll be tackling it but I want to work through the whole COD series! Well, the earlier games at least
Without really trying it took me roughly about 5-7 years to get the Platinum trophy for W@W. I was playing and randomly I get a the final trophy (can’t remember what I was doing). It was all I played with my friends just for fun. I often wish I could go back to those times
Something fun about, as someone who's played thousands of hours of every zombies game, listen to someone new at it explain things like the game isn't almost 15 years old
I'm not going to lie when I say this. But the Zombie maps are the scariest horror games that I have ever played, and I am not someone who scares easily when it comes to video games (the Shalebridge Cradle in Thief: Deadly Shadows...) the reason why it is just so damn terrifying here is that A: The zombies are so utterly relentless and are legitimately creepy in every way, and B: There is no hope! You're done. There's no way out. No matter how good you are, no matter how strong you are. Even if you have plenty of weapons and ammunition, even if you set and reset booby traps that take out the deadliest ones. There is simply no hope. Your time is limited and theirs isn't. You are alone and their numbers are infinite. All you can do is not go down without a fight.
I know I'm incredibly late go comment lol, but have you fully completed black ops 2s achivements yet? If you haven't that could be a good video idea love your content keep it up mate
Never too late! I've actually never even played BO2, black ops 1 was my last call of duty during the glory years. I plan on getting to it though 100%! First up cod2, mw2 and black ops 1 though. Not sure on what my next video will be, got some other games on the go/that I want to get done! and thank you very much, appreciate it
I'm sure somebody has done the math already, but those last two dogs gave you 200 total points. Had you not fired that last shot, you would have been 20, count 'em, TWENTY points off the 75,000. Without a doubt the luckiest shot of the whole run. Also, I'm not sure if you've done it yet, but there is a Der Riese exclusive achievement called "Perkaholics Anonymous." I know you're a novice player, but I'd be down to see a video of this achievement being done if you haven't completed it yet.
Whats bizarre..is that when verükt came out, I was already very well acquainted with the mechanics of zombies..so it didn't give me that anxiety adrenaline rush like nacht did.
I think it’s so wholesome you’re giving novice zombies tips like ‘when the box spawns a teddy bear, it’ll move to a new location’. This games been out for well over a decade now, zombies is a hugely popular mode but you still narrate the video as if it was brand new. Brilliant!
haha yeah it's just my style I guess. Not pretending i'm the best at anything but just showing and explaining how I go about doing it and maybe it will help someone! thanks!
@@JForJackPlays Shi No Numa is considered one of the easiest maps ever made, i'm surprised you struggled so much. just train around the flogger with the wunderwaffe and you can finish every round in a few minutes
the 2nd time I beat the CoD WaW campaign I unlocked zombies for my cousin. His house burnt down the next night after I stayed. Still creeps me out this game even just because of that coincidence. I don’t trust old box fans anymore.
@@JForJackPlays minus the house, everyone was alright. Can’t remember if they lost a cat or dog, maybe they had no pets couldn’t remember but played a lot of halo and WaW “zambies” as we called it in that old farm house. Bittersweet memories but no loss of life there. In the ashes we found the Xbox 360, still in recognizable shape. The huge CRT (was actually a decent TV) was sitting near it and they fell through the floor when it burnt. Really freaky. I remember that night perfectly- we had just stacked a few hundred square bales in the barn, one hot summer night here in NY and I stayed up till like 2 or 3 am beating WaW. Alex was a little older and he slept, woke up, and found I unlocked zombies that morning. We played for Hours the next day, and that night or the next it burned. We played the morning b4 the night it went up in flames. For some reason no one was home. I really miss my childhood, and growing older makes me yearn for the times when all I could think of was playing some Nacht. Love your channel Jack. Nostalgia trip.
HA that ending was crazy. I remember a few years after world at war came out i went for all the achievements and the campaign was just brutal, for sure one of the hardest ones for cod.
as a well seasoned zombies player (literally the only thing i buy call of duty games for), these are some of the easiest achievements. BO1 you have easter eggs that all take 30 minutes to an hour, BO2 is the same with longer and more complex easter eggs, BO3 is even longer, BO4 has even more complex easter eggs and some that rely on you getting to really high rounds such as the classifed round 100 cutscene, then you have cold war which is back to BO1 levels of complexity with the game guiding you though it. playing solo i've gotten well past round 100 in every map. by the time you are at about round 50 money is not an object. you are usually using traps left and right and only using the wonderwaffe and maybe a wall gun just to maintain points long term to keep using traps. in vurruct you need about 3000 points per round to use the traps every single round. for shi no numa opening up the comms room is actually the first thing i usually do because as long as you run in the water and walk on solid platforms you can endlessly run circles in that section of the map for hundreds of rounds. its the only map on W@W that doesn't need any whole map strategies for high rounds
I would simply train the zombies near the log trapper in circles and just zap them with the Wunderwaffe or mow them down with the PPsH. And since WaW is glitchy, the zombie limit doesnt extend in later high rounds. Oh and BTW it wasnt merely the dogs outnumbering you at the end, the Wunderwaffe can sometimes do heavy self harm when you fire it near to a zombie, so pretty much you have done this yourself
Not sure if you know this but, you killed yourself with the wonderwaffle on the last dog round. It causes damage to you and will drop you like a fly, as you saw...
@@JForJackPlays quick tip Ascension is a fairly easy map if there are trophies for rounds and points it has a perk called PhD Flopper which removes all explosive damage to yourself from weapons, making the upgraded 1911s one of the best guns to use

I remember back in 2011/11/12 grinding for achievements watching you tube tutorials to see where I was going wrong
Next gen tactics I was addicted to and roosterchicken
Good days ❤❤
VERY good days indeed!
Oh no Shi-No dogs, you dont actually heal during that round so you can only take so many hits.
wow never knew that
The game is still active on pc on usually at least one server every day. Pc also has servers which give you more xp than usual.
Im not a zombies guy but playing WAW zombies was always fun and I loved the mystery/horror vibe from each of the maps. The music was fire as well. Cant wait to play the game again and get the achievements on my series x (my modern account).
That Waw splitscreen tho I miss couch coop even though i hated how small the screen was
Loved this game for zombies.
definitely something I neglected back in the day but making up for lost time now.
Will do Black Ops 1 soon!
got this years ago with a friend in private match.
he got the wunderwaffe and i got the mg42, forget what the secondary's were.
we just camped the corner near the door to storage. never opened the door so we only had to focus straight ahead and the one window behind. we both bought the bouncing betties and would place them ever max ammo in the corner near the storage door or the other little dead end in the same room, as a place to panic and run to if needed.
really just took alot of time to do, even with being able to pause during split screen.
the last two dogs gave him 270 points which did just barely get him the achievement
I remember replaying the campaign with a friend and got an achievement by saving a solidger from a enemy who was on fire
The achievement for reaching round 20 without buying any perks on der riese was the hardest achiemevent in the game solo imo. Took me many tries.
Yep I have heard this!
I got all the der riese achieves in 3 player co op and I definitely got carried hard.. will be doing them again some time! Not sure if solo or not but will do another video for the other zombies achievements
That menu song always gives me chills
iconic!
@@JForJackPlays my absolute favourite game
Remember playing it when I was 7 and being terrified
Any plans to do CoD Black Ops?
I've played through recently and am now no Zombies but am struggling with the buy every weapon on a map. Will be playing WaW soon so will be interested to see if the original Zombies mode is easier or harder or around the same.
Yep, for sure!
on black ops im just missing a couple of single player bits then all of the zombies. Not sure when i'll be tackling it but I want to work through the whole COD series! Well, the earlier games at least
I just started the campaign on veteran and this is significantly more difficult than any other call of duty I’ve played on veteran
have you completed all of the others?
@@JForJackPlays I’ve done the original MW trilogy including the MW1-2 remasters (did mile high club twice) then beat Cold War, MW2019, and MW2 2022
After WAW I’m going to do black ops and black ops 2 on veteran and that’s really the only call of duty’s I care to beat on veteran
@@JForJackPlays I beat the game yesterday and blowtorch and corkscrew is by far the most bullshit mission
Nice I platinumed this game when I was young.. that sniper level almost stopped me from getting it tho!!
Without really trying it took me roughly about 5-7 years to get the Platinum trophy for W@W. I was playing and randomly I get a the final trophy (can’t remember what I was doing). It was all I played with my friends just for fun. I often wish I could go back to those times
Those were good times indeed
Something fun about, as someone who's played thousands of hours of every zombies game, listen to someone new at it explain things like the game isn't almost 15 years old
haha yeah but you never know who it might help!
Another great video! You keep knocking it out the park. Can’t wait for the next one! Hoping for left4dead 2!!
thank you kind sir
I'm not going to lie when I say this. But the Zombie maps are the scariest horror games that I have ever played, and I am not someone who scares easily when it comes to video games (the Shalebridge Cradle in Thief: Deadly Shadows...)
the reason why it is just so damn terrifying here is that A: The zombies are so utterly relentless and are legitimately creepy in every way, and B: There is no hope!
To be honest it was easier to get a lobby with a hacker that auto unlocks all your acheivements then getting a lobby to do normally
Not sure on what my next video will be, got some other games on the go/that I want to get done!
and thank you very much, appreciate it
Man what a crazy plane crash. Oh look, the locals are coming to help
😂
I'm sure somebody has done the math already, but those last two dogs gave you 200 total points. Had you not fired that last shot, you would have been 20, count 'em, TWENTY points off the 75,000.
Without a doubt the luckiest shot of the whole run.
Also, I'm not sure if you've done it yet, but there is a Der Riese exclusive achievement called "Perkaholics Anonymous." I know you're a novice player, but I'd be down to see a video of this achievement being done if you haven't completed it yet.
the flogger returned in rave in the redwoods in cod iw zombies
This was very enjoyable!
thank you very much! appreciate it
perkaholics anonymous put me through much worse hell, and I still haven't done it.
I've heard!
I did that one with some friends so it was very easy but i imagine its a nightmare solo
I'll never forget just how terrified i was when I finished waw main campaign and got thrown into nacht Der untoten..
seriously spooky stuff
Whats bizarre..is that when verükt came out, I was already very well acquainted with the mechanics of zombies..so it didn't give me that anxiety adrenaline rush like nacht did.
Another great video.
thank you very much!
I think it’s so wholesome you’re giving novice zombies tips like ‘when the box spawns a teddy bear, it’ll move to a new location’. This games been out for well over a decade now, zombies is a hugely popular mode but you still narrate the video as if it was brand new. Brilliant!
I mean it's not that deep. I've played cod but never touched zombies and never plan to.. I didn't know that..
haha yeah it's just my style I guess.
Not pretending i'm the best at anything but just showing and explaining how I go about doing it and maybe it will help someone!
thanks!
Trench gun and wunderwaffe, coms roon strat while keeping storage shut can get you over round 300
I got so good at this map it was more a matter of when would i get bored rather than dying to zombies. WaW zombies is by far the best
haha, just a bit better than me then!
Bro's Xbox was scared shitless too 💀💀💀
damn, hope they were all ok. scary stuff
I refuse to believe they gave it a proper playtest haha. How did anyone think the grenade spam was ok
Damn that was close at the end. Great game.
Best to ever do it. I’m on it everyday for pc.
The wunderwaf bug too, keeping you from regen health. That killed you a couple times.
Yeah I didn't know that was a thing at the time!
I have lots to learn about zombies that's for sure
as a well seasoned zombies player (literally the only thing i buy call of duty games for), these are some of the easiest achievements.
Proud to say I have EVERY zombies achievement from WAW-BO3
Wow, impressive!
Which game was the hardest?
I hope to have the same done one day!
You can go for the achivements. Servers are back up again for xbox
im so glad they buffed Quick Revive in BO1
it didn't have the self revive function in WaW
I'll be attempting BO1 in the near future, lots to learn!
@@JForJackPlays quick tip
Ascension is a fairly easy map if there are trophies for rounds and points
it has a perk called PhD Flopper which removes all explosive damage to yourself from weapons, making the upgraded 1911s one of the best guns to use
