Ugh! You guys are amazing!! I'm beyond inspired... happy 10year anniversary of this vid being up!
I love a nice, loud fan veil! So dramatic! Very nice tutorial--thank you so much for posting!
Thanks for the upload.
Can I just say I bought several fans a few weeks ago and the best by far for strength is to ask for a ‘metal pivot pin’.
This is like working wish fresh air the silk is so light.
I was wondering what to do with some of my old fans. Never would have thought of this. Thank you!
Love,love,love, I was amazed when I saw you both dance with the fans. I loved the fans and the belly dance. Most enjoyable
Omg ur dance at the end is so awesome I love u guys! :) thank u for teaching us how to make our own fans and for entertaining us at the end!!!! ♡

hi RST, I enjoyed your how-to videos & your dancing! Very nicely done :)
We had our first step in helping take over the world through belly dance just last week. Can't wait for the 17th when we get to take another step together!
Thank you so much for posting this tutorial... I have been so wanting a pair of fan veils.. But I am not ready to be bent over for what most places are asking for them. I am good to go with making a pair for myself! :-)
Hi, I was just wondering where I can buy the plastic sticks to make my own fans?
Thank you for this instruction video. I wish i could get my fan veils. And your dance as a feedback was awesome. Thank you!
@AMAUZUME
You can definetely go with longer silk. The average fanveil is much longer than the ones we use. They are that length just because we are doing tribal with them.
Loved Abney Park at the end. Great Job!
Love the Fan and the dance presentation! Thanks
absolutedly loved loved loved both tutorials, you guys are so cool!!! I was wondering if guys can make a tutorial on how to use the fan veils, some basic techniques and stuff like that. And by the way, I liked your nail polish jijiji
Great video! You guys are so cute! Your performance was so fun!
Oh my gosh. Abney Park love. Love you guys too. Awesome job!
If I use a longer length, will affect the flow of the fan veils? I want to use these for burlesque routines, so it might need to be a little longer.
Wonderful idea. Its perfect for my living room decor. And love the dance at the end. That dude shouldnt move like that less its in the bedroom. But I aint mad at cha! Get it!!!
Awesome tutorial thanks for putting this up and make me bite my tongue cause I have spent a bomb on a pair of fan veils two days ago which quality was really lousy and it doesn't open up smoothly. I have a question though, is it possible to modify a fan which is originally right-handed into a left-handed one? Thank you very much!
@He1iconia
Totally forgot to mention, We use the width of the fabric so the selvage edge is at the end of the fan. We get a minimal amount of fraying.
Hi I liked your tutorial is great, a question, you hemming silk? As you can avoid not waste silk thread? I would appreciate information =)
What good and nice people you are!! Be happy!! :)
"the cat stole it". Is that the thieving cat in the video? Sooo cute! Thank yo so much for the tutorial!
This is beautiful : )
you guys are so awesome! Thanks for sharing!! ;)

May i ask? What is the fabric you used on this? I am confused. Thank you :)
I just love this dance and music. Like from me!
@DanceEternal
Thank You!
I plan on making one for my kokomi cosplay 💕
Gracias.
What fabric did you use?? I know the name is “silk fan” but I can’t find the exact type of fabric in local stores
Silk habatoi from dharma trading company. 5mm
Where i found the fans to do that?
and omigod, is that ITS with fan veil?
What kind of cloth is that??
what is the name of the glue? what much it cost?
What kind of glue is using.
What kind of fabric is this
Great job on fan veils and dance. You made it seem so easy. So why do people charge between $50 and $140.00 for them? I'd rather make my own for those prices. Thank you.
@BellyTreeDancer
Thank you!
@He1iconia
I just trim the strings as they happen.
Que tipo de tela es esa?
@sakuchannn1 we don't hem the silk
Great tutorial! I was wondering: how can I keep the ends of my fan veils from fraying? I bought a pair and the raw ends are starting to fray. I'm afraid that sewing or gluing them will weigh them down and change how they float. Any advice? :)
I double rolled the silk, but instead of doing a stitch along the entire thing I just did a single handstitch every couple centimeters with a lightweight thread, it's not perfect but it helps with longevity a lot
The song is called Airship Pirate. the band is Called Abney Park
IS THE MATERIAL REAL SILK?
Thaks for the tutorial :) it´s just i find :)
