    As had all kinds of wireless headphones and honestly these are probably the best ones I've had in awhile. So much so I bought an extra pair

    I have these, and 3 pros too. The way to get the most from Soundcore buds, when setting up the ID sound test, is to say " No" when prompted, when you can only just hear the beep. I did this, after numerous attempts, and it's so much better. Guess it tricks the app settings? Not an expert, but it definitely improves the sound at all levels

      @@AlexMnl when you set up the hear I.D When you can hear the very feint sound, instead of saying Yes you can hear it, say No. If may take 3 or 4 tries, but I did this, and it seemed to give a louder richer sound

      @@josehaya6362 tbh, they're both brilliant for such a low price, but the 4s are now my daily buds. More comfortable, and I think the overall sound, is that little bit better. Just my opinion though. 👍🏻

    Tried both Liberty 4 NC and a40. Preferred Liberty 4 NC, more comfortable, have noticibly better sound and a much more room for higher volumes, as I like sometimes. Maybe I am a person that prefers the stem version, and that´s it (sometimes need to take off quickly and with stem version is a lot more easily)

    • @alejandroelcid
      @alejandroelcid 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I am with you there. I don't normally like stem-styled earbuds but the Liberty 4 NC are comfortable and even moderate volumes (less than 60%) sound is impressive; especially after customizing the personalized EQ from the app. I do disagree with her on the microphones, I have had compliments on how clear my voice sounds on phone calls and are impressed when they find out it is from earbuds.

  • @alejandroelcid
    @alejandroelcid 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    The verdict was a little odd. On screen it would appear that the Liberty 4 NC is the better choice, not the A40. I don't know how the microphones were recorded but they so sound good, even compared above the price range. In reality the main thing when choosing between the Liberty 4 NC and the A40 is your personal preference for stem-styled or in-ear TWS. If you don't want to stomach the $99 retail price they often go on sale for $20 less. I got mine on Amazon for $79, an absolute bargain, worth getting.

    I have these. Mics on headphones/earbuds are not my top consideration, so these have been great for everything else. My only problem with ANY earbud, is finding one stable enough to not fall out when eating.

  • @rolins3279
    @rolins3279 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    If you think the microphones of these Liberty 4 NC are bad, it means that those of the Airpod Pro 2 are unusable, because from my experience, they are much better than the Airpod Pro 2 in phone call, especially in noisy environments 🤷🏽‍♂️

    I bought these a week ago and they're awesome but I hate the case. When I press the button my finger always stops it from over there constantly. Other than that they're badass noise cancellation is really really good

    Bought it on sale for $79, and it was the best audio device I've purchased in 2023. Apart from the ear tips that did get me ear scratching sometimes, the Liberty 4 NC is a solid yes.

    In your sound chart at what volume are those results for? Because people hear different parts of the frequency more or less depending on the volume, so a "balanced" sound at a high volume will be thin and lacking bass at a low volume. How is that accounted for? There are people who listen at max volume and more sane people who listen with only enough volume to hear the music clearly, which person is your chart for?

    • @tom_from_myspace
      @tom_from_myspace 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not really. There’s compensation at low and high volume. It is dynamic and change with volume. Almost every audio product has some nowadays. It would otherwise make low volume sound like shit and same for high volume sound.

    • @RTINGScomAudio
      @RTINGScomAudio  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That is a good question. We run our testing at 100db and 90dB. If we were to run the Sine Sweep at different dB levels, the FR would not change since you are referring to changes in Loudness (perception of sound in our ears).
      Currently, we do not account for the Equal Loudness Contour in our testing, but producers/engineers mix and produce with this in mind.
      Also, some manufacturers implement features to Raise or Lower the Bass and Treble Response of the headphones depending on the listening volume to migrate the Equal Loudness Contour effect and, in doing so, encourage users to listen at lower volumes.
      For example, the Airpods Pro Gen 2 uses the H2 chip to change the Bass and Treble range so that the perceived sound pressure sounds the same at all listening volumes at lower levels. In this case, we could measure the differences in Frequency at different levels on our testing head.

    the main problem are the eartips and the ANC. The second one it’s not due to the quality but that sound you can hear when turn on the adaptative mode or transparency mode. It’s like a very annoying white sound. It sounds when the adaptative sound works, i don’t know to explain but it’s really bother me. And the eartips are very uncomfortable, they makes me a headache often and the make my ears itch. I’ve tested the airpods pro, nothing ear and other TWS and they are the only ones this happen.

    Hello, thanks for the review! My 1 more comfo buds pro broke, and I just got this Soundcore Liberty 4NC, but got some questions with voice assistant, please see if you can help... I use a Samsung S21 FE. I set the 4NC controls to tap and activate google assistant, but there is no prompt sound. And when I use Google Assistant to make a phone call, it says I have to unlock the phone first.
    I didn't have these issues with the 1 more comfo, do you know how to set these 2 items?
    Many thanks!

    • @RTINGScomAudio
      @RTINGScomAudio  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there,
      Yes, these buds support mono mode. However, there was a user report that their unit doesn't switch to mono mode when only one bud is in use. We didn't encounter this with the unit we purchase, but if you have an issue with your own, you should contact Anker directly.
