    Some mindblowing slo-mo's and that suspension is full fat buttery smooth. Nice.

    Oh, that was some great footage you got there! I love the sound of the motor now, not that constant revving up each time the wheels hop up, very nice!
    I need to figure out this 3D print thing at some point, ha ha! Maybe I'm too old already...

      thank you for your comment! I learned 3d printing and modeling totally by myself (of course I am not at expert level still...) in 2018, I am now 50. If you are around that age, I believe it is never too late to learn anything^^

      thank you!. yes front is in double wishbone, but I sometimes think original swing arm is better except it cannot use dampers^^

    Happy your design works so well and can take the off road abuse without damage. Nice spot to run off road RC cars you found. Great work!

    Nice video showing the abilities of this classic car! It looks like a full scale car in some shots, well done!

      thank you! yes this grasshopper really is a scale looking nice one considering it's a low priced entry model^^

    Really cool and it was slinging some dirt out there! I am going to print these and do one of these. Thank you so much for doing all that hard work and testing to come up with this and then sharing it with everyone!!! Time to wipe the dust off of the printer and make something cool!!!

    This is awesome, true to the box art now 👍

    • @HumbleVintageRC
      @HumbleVintageRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thank you for noticing my intent! I always wanted someting close to the boxart, unlike any other vehicle from tamiya, grasshopper's box art is not a correct reflection of what's in it^^

    Very impressive indeed. How is the rear ground clearance compared to the original? I want to take my grasshopper to the beach :)

    • @HumbleVintageRC
      @HumbleVintageRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! thank you for your feedback! stock clearance is less than 1.5~2cm, my setup makes it 3cm, with same stock tire.

    Did you make this with a 3D printer or did you buy it are you willing to sell it to other people?

    • @HumbleVintageRC
      @HumbleVintageRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes Brad I made it by myself with my home printer. I share my 3d design files linked in my description, but as of now I don't have plans to sell it. How ever some people who do not have access to 3d printing ask me for ways to get it. I am thinking of uploading the design to 3d printing service platform like shapeways, but it will take some time...
