Thanks for your effort; however, I must say this one is a little complicated; my observation is that, in Ukrainian, there are far too many verbs that fall into the second group and yet take the endings of the first group; I would confidently say that the rule in the video for the second group is rather problematic or needs additional explanation; I personally never had any issues with imperatives in Ukrainian as I have made a habit of memorizing them along with the conjugations; in my opinion, the most confusing aspect of the Ukrainian imperative mood for a foreign learner is the nuance in meaning between the imperfective and perfective imperatives; at times, I find myself struggling in deciding which one to use.
Hello! Thank you for the feedback. Do you mean the 2nd ending type rule needs more explanations? The rule is just that all the other verbs (which do not take type 1 endings) take type 2 endings. What are the verbs that fall in one type but take the endings of the other type? Do you have problems recognizing perfective/imperfective generally or only for imperatives?
@@LetsLearnUkrainian yes, I am referring to the second group that you describe as the verbs with stems having zero or dental consonant ending; aspects in general are pretty straight forward; but I know for a fact that the nuance between Imperfective and perfective imperatives is rather troublesome to grasp for foreign learners (e.g.: скажи мені... vs кажи мені...).
@@ateshify well, I don't make the rules and that's what the rule says, there's not much I can do about it. And what are those verbs you mentioned in the first comment that fall into 2nd group but take endings of the first?
Bonsoir Olia, J'ai une question, pourquoi à la 1ere personne de l'imperatif di verbe поверНутися, met-on -Cb et non -ся ? (поверНисb / поверНiMoсb/ Mais , поверНiтbся ! ) Merci .
Дуже складно. Якби я не знав Українську мову, я б ніколи не навчився нею балакати по таких складних відео. Проте, можливо я не прав. Я не слухав попередні лекції.
Hello, I think at 19:46 there is a typo. For Second Person Plural, shouldn’t it be “слухайте!”? Not “слухати”?
Hello and Yes, correct. It's supposed слухайте, of course. Good job noticing! 👏
Excellent explanation and examples. Щиро дякую!

Anytime!! ❤ Do suggest more, I'm quickly running out of ideas 😄😄
6:22و شو ع الفعل : درس (займатися) يا معلمة أوليا؟
What about the verb : zaymaTysA (to study) Ms.Olya ?
Займатися means more like to go in for something, to do something. If what you’re doing has to do with studying, you can also use it!
