When I'm trying to learn a song, I watch a couple of lessons, then I watch a few covers, ... and I must say, yours is by far the best I've seen on TH-cam. It's helping me nail the song. Well done and thanks for posting.

some of the fast shifting like at :49 is probably the hardest part. pretty tricky to do cleanly since your shifting a lot of frets at a very fast tempo. the main riff is pretty simple. still a little tricky to switch back and forth from the little leads to the chords but very easy compared to the former

Your (very nice) Yamaha Pacifica has a P90 pickup at the neck and a Humbucker at the bridge. What version is this? Most Pacificas are HSS (Humbucker/Single Coil/Single Coil) pickup configurations.
It's a Yamaha 611 HFM - a serious piece of kit! :D The Humbucker is a Seymour Duncan Custom 5, and has a very useable range...maybe not for total metal madness though! ;)
It absolutely is coil tapped - just pull up the tone knob! :) Very handy for getting a nice middle position kinda tone :) I'd highly recommend the guitar to anyone - great build quality, tones and playability! :)
RossMc43 That's the one thing I don't have yet, a humbucker laden guitar that's coil tapped. Luckily for my wallet, these guitars are a bit thin on the ground new....

personally, I don't find the song too hard, the hardest part is being accurate on the bridge when it goes fast.
The chords and main riff are simple but the sum of its parts make this song tricky especially when playing at tempo with an entire band.
