Hi Jon how long have you been playing? Just as some constructive criticism. I like the enthusiasm! However I must say Indian classical music comes from the voice originally, and I would recommend that you sing the notes of the gat and antara etc before playing it on sitar in other videos :)
Another thing I'd suggest is explaining the concept of raag, and how it can be expressed in different ways, as westerners who come across your videos may consider this to be a set "song". Again I really mean no bad vibes just my opinion. I'm a sitar student of nearly 5 years now (in case you're like who the heck is this guy!!) :-)

It's also a gharana thing but it's generally accepted as "correct technique" to rely almost exclusively on the first and second fingers ;-)
