These boats are at a disadvantage in this series because they're designed to cut through a wave. Kind of like this example. The hull did its job, but it still ended up with a deck rinse.
@svkoleseredavesara3544 no, it's the V warp (semi-displacement) hull designed by Mark Richard's, now CEO of Grand Banks, when he was at Palm Beach yachts, who Grand Banks bought out in 2014/15 to keep them from going under and got their hull design. Although Grand Banks has the look of classic Grand Banks of the past, it's anything but. It's a state of the art hull design. That's the GB60 flybridge. A newer design.
I'd call the second yacht a loss:having to catch a Sealy certa mattress doing 30 mph has to be a BIG loss. Or at least hell on your back.one handed too.😳Wow .just wow... I bet he's crying like a baby tonight over a strained back.LOL
SeaRay did have an issue with that rear compartment. He actually did have the compartment open before they were up and on plane. The compartment was down as he is in the trough. The last shot brought the compartment open. Boats won, but have to pick on you how else would you know I watch your content 😅
I never have felt the design on the first boat was good at all for ocean going . You might go out on a calm day that turns bad and have to deal with its limitations!
Your calls were spot-on in this one BG. Good episode. What a save on that cushion!
You got the volume on the intro perfect! And again, I can't disagree with the outcome.
I'm the captain in the 1st round. We skilled captains do that on purpose to rinse the boat down.
With saltwater?
‘Captain’ ? lol
Hehe, looked fun, nonetheless 😊
The struggle is real
great round, taking a swig of beer
The big yacht is an Astonda - a Spanish brand. They should have brought in the cushions.
#1 didn't stuff it. That boat throws water forward and up. Captain did a good job. He was cleaning up the crumbs from lunch
It threw water clean over the roof. It definitely stuffed it.
@@floridamaninthewild bow didn't go under
Anytime water comes over the bow it's a loss.

I honestly hope to see a parody of this channel in the GTAVI social media spoofs.
👍👍
I’m sure those cushions ain’t cheap.
At least they didn’t sink the SeaRay! 😂
As soon as I heard "Grand Banks," I knew it was over for Haulover. You really can't drive that boat wrong.
Yeah , i was taking a swig of beer and saw that too. No beating the Grand Banks.
Isn’t the Grand Banks a displacement hull? If so it can’t get up on a plane
Not my kind of boat, but a real legend at what she does in big water.
yes i believe the displacement ratio is 2 swigs of beer: 1 swig of beer?@@svkoleseredavesara3544

Are you sure this was filmed on the same day?
Going to argue with boat #1 - he didn't fully stuff, the bow never went under!

If you want to make this into a competition style you should really mention the exact weather stats,
Is there no new content ? These are replays.
Astondoa
First
I’m going with a loss for the last one. HAULOVER wins
The sea ray was doomed from the start.
I’m going to say that the inlet won
Sea ray is way too small for haulover
