Thanks. Yes we met them at Hope and Lizard Island. It was some of their children being towed by the motor boat. Lovely family.

We now have a Telstra based celfi-go booster as Optus doesn't cover as soon as you leave land. For weather you can get reports on UHF regularly. Otherwise other boaties are always helpful. If you are going past Lizard Island you may need to consider a Sat phone. Enjoy!
