I think there is only ONE high-level chess player that would post his blunder of a mate-in-one for everyone to see. Thank you for the entertaining game at the end, and for not deleting it. The fianchetto gambit is very good. You have initiative until the end of the game. White pieces are inactive and underdeveloped, so you are playing always with more material actually.

At 4:16 before taking the hanging pawn on b2, why not move Qa6 first with the possibility of a discovered check and an attack on the queen. Sure, they could move their queen first, but I think that's one of those I'd be willing to take a chance on since there's plenty of good attacks still.

I got checkmated in 5 moves. Same kind of sideline opening. I played the Bird opening and opponent played From's Gambit. 4 moves later it was game over. What do you play against the Bird?
