Thank you for making this video! I had no idea house paint could be used for pours! I’m relatively new at painting!!!

Thank you for your explanations, I'm French, and there are no such detailed videos, but please could you specify the proportions used for gac 800 and liquitex, the measures aren't the same here, so I'll have to do the conversion (quite complicated). Thank you very much

What is the difference between red cap flloetrol and the white cap floetrol? If any.

How big was the paint can you bought? And do you use this base mixture for all your paintings? Would I be able to mix this with a different color paint with the same specs? Thank you!

    You don't strain your floetrol?

I noticed that, maybe he did it off camera.

I always strain every paint before it ever touches canvas.

What is the purpose of straining? Obviously I'm new to this.

@@michelleprice7605 ..Floetrol can have 'goopy lumps' in it. Most common method to avoid them is to use a rubber band to hold a stretched piece of nylon stocking or nylon tights to the top of the container so you are always pouring your Floetrol through that.

I just found your channel. Thanks for the great video. I’m wondering why VOC’s are added to other paint brands if it’s just pollutants? Will it make a difference in the long run on a paint pour if the paint doesn’t have it?

VOC's are volatile organic compounds that are added to water based paints to act as a medium and a preservative. Low VOC's help with that typical paint smells. The pollutants that you are referring to is just airborne smells that may be offensive to the nose.

How long does it stay good for with mixing it up in this big amount

Not sure as I tend to use it up fairly quick. However, if I had to guess, I would say as long as it stays in a consistent temperature, should last a good while.
