this is my personal interpretation of this famous piece by G.F. Handel, I hope you like it. P.s. sorry for the dog hair on the socks, who owns a dog can understand me :)
genius it all fields
No matter, I love animals, more more, than humans. However, your interpretacion, and organ, of course, is very good.
Hi there! I would love to know if you played this by heart or if you have a sheet that I could steal from you to play this myself! Any help would be appreciated! Ps. Love the sound of this organ!
@@mardatron hello and thanks, I learned it from the sheet
Proof that you don't need dozens of stops to sound BRILLIANT.
Thank you for your kind words! Thanks
Stops are the 'effect pedals' of the organ world.
I feel the same thing since I want to get some that are different enough like:
-1 stop of principal
-1 stop of flutes
-1 stop of strings
- fewer stops of different kind of reeds
A stunning and very very intimate rendition of one of the most profound pieces of music ever composed. I want the soundtrack of this to be played at my funeral whenever that may be
Thanks!
Wow, this is gorgeous! The subtle squeaks of the action and chiffs of the pipes all add to its majesty, I could listen on repeat all day!
Thanks!
Thank you for the inspiration. I can already play this song like You ♥🙂
👌
I love that venitian flute so much, what a great organ for Handel
Thanks!
This piece of craftsmanship and awesomeness needs far far more views and attention that it has right now. This is just awesome!
Thanks Muksu, I wish!
Goosebumps. Pure and simple! Bravo maestro!
Hi Sir Synth, thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it! But I like to call myself an amateur👍
@@nippocast Yes I know. But there are at least 3 considerations to that. 'amateur' is maybe your technical level. 'expression' is your musicality, feeling etc (at which your level definitely is higher than amateur, else you wouldn't do the effort). And there is the perception (your family, friends, followers, ...) who also like your music. In short: it's Art!
@@sirsynth225 I totally agree with you, I'm very glad to have people like you following my channel, thank you!
This sounds very nice sir. Did you also make the pipes yourself?
Incredible sound, so soft and clear, and still maintaining the full power of an organ.
Thanks!
One of my favourite pieces and beautifully played - thank you. The bass notes in particular have a great sound. ( and you have an assistant to change the stops! )
Thanks John, Yes Claudia gave me a hand!
Wow ! Beautyfull ❤ Thank you
Thanks!
Incredible how even a little homemade pipe organ is still able to sound mighty using few metal stops.
yeah, you're right. moreover the pipes are of a regular scale, not narrow and with a pressure of 65mm, also for this reason it sounds so imposing, you must not have neighbors though
I love it, the performance and this piece! Thank you very much for posting these videos. I bet the passacaille would sound amazing too!
Thanks gary, passacaille is on my list...
When I got my harpsichord home, this was the first piece I played, then the Harmonious Blacksmith, and the Italian Concerto (more fun than a human should be allowed to have).
You have a fine tocuch, and the B or ABA was treated with such care. Bravo!
Thank You! I appreciate it

Ooooh, Venetian flute ❤❤ such emotion
That was immaculate!
Thanks Howard!
Bella esecuzione.
👍🏻very Good 😃
Thanks Pyrokreis!
Great Performance! I am really excited how you will play my piece.
Thanks! I'll try :)
@@nippocast Are you taking requests?
@@Charles-Reardon not really... but if you have a suggestion, go ahead
I played this song on organ! Very good.
Yes, sounds good on pipe organ. Thanks Kristof!
Beautiful! And all the more because it is truly your instrument.
Thanks Fred!

Grazie!
GRAZIE.
This homemade organ is super, 5 years ago I´ve made my small organ too, only 5 registers, this is enough, I thing.. I´ve build it for not to get mad - thats time I hasitated - to get drunk every day or to do something, everything.
Thank You eduard!
That is a beautiful organ. I wish I could build that; I really need a practice organ, something that sounds that nice.
Also I would like to thank you for all of your organ building videos, i am now building a 3 octave pipe organ with PVC pipes!
Great!
That will be a bit of a challenge to scale the pipes with pvc piping. The length and diameter change from note to note in proportion. The length will not be a problem but there is only so many sizes of pipe that one can use. The tone will go from a string to flute for each diameter you use as the pitch rises.
Plastic will also be a bit of a challenge to voice as it is not really flexible as metal to manipulate.
@@acemannotsomeother Oh I already got all the pipes working. I'm just working on the windchest now :p
Awesome performance! Can’t believe this is homemade!
Thanks!
MARAVILLOSO...!!!!!!!!!
Grazie!
Sounds like you were playing Nasicaa requiem there for a minute...
From the studio Ghibli classic.
But It sounds gorgeous!!!
Yes, he took inspiration from Handel
I am really liking all your videos on your homemade pipe organ. That really is something to be very proud of.
Thanks J Nelson!
Wow this actually sounds incredible

Most beautiful sound, as much as I love the big full sound of a very big Pipe organ, yours is amazing. Thank you..
Thanks for your comment A b! I really appreciate it
Impressive!
Thanks!
So much lies in the pipes. It's a beautiful voice.
I'll have to watch more videos to see how you built this.
Imagine this lovely sound filling a 60' high stone hall!
Yeah, thanks!
Wonderful!

What microphones did you use to record this? Lovely balance with a fantastically solid sounding bass.
I keep coming back to listen to this👍🏻
Thanks! a pair of Behringer C2, very cheap €40
Belíssima obra 👏👏 toca excelentemente.
Thanks!
Excellent performance, I realize that the manual keyboard has only 4 octive meaning 48keys in total? Is there any consideration to build fewer keys than the common 56-60 keys manual?
Now the standard for the organs is 61 keys. Old organs have less keys, my mistake was not to add the 49th key, the final C that affects a lot of musical literature
Grazie
What exactly is the "Venetian flute"? I couldnt find this specific register, but i really like the sound. Maybe you can give a fellow organ builder some information? Thanks! The best from Austria
Hi, it's a rare stop, from Gaetano Callido (Italian Organ Builder 18th century). It's slightly conical, with a scale in between from principal and flute. the mouths are quite low and the sound is very nice. Also the ruffatti brothers made some rank of this particular register.
@@nippocast Thank you very much. Any possibility to get my hands on the measurements?
What type of tuning is this organ tuned to? To my ears, it sounds higher than 440 but I’m not quite sure if it’s a philharmonic tuning.
Hi Andy, yes, the tuning fork is set to 450 Hz
Did you have your metal pipework custom made for you? Or have you re-used old pipework?
Hi Rob, I reused old pipes.
and what is type of the wooden pipe displayed aroungd 0:42, the mouth piece is a bit strange with jagged shape and so is the curve on top, could you explain? thanks🤣
it's in mahogany, the "jagged" shape are the nicks of the voicing. The curvet mouth is to obtain more sweet sound with big fundamental tone.
Do you have a video in which you play the Venetian Flute alone?
Yes, in handel's passacaglia I play a part with that stop alone
@@nippocast It's a stop with a very beautiful sound "color": I feel it can be used as a fine organ stop.

perky sounding organ....
The organ is out of tune :) Otherwise nice interpreation. Thank you
Thanks dhyanais, I know that it's not perfect, I'll try to tune it better for the next performance. 👌
Dear, How did you build this pipe organ? Where can I find an instruction or plan or a book?
there is no specific project for this organ, but there are many useful books, "l'art du facteur d'orgues", "The art of organ building vol.II", "organ building for amateurs"
