B-univ is a duo composed of Takenobu Mitsuyoshi and Koichi Namiki. This is an arrangement of Let's Go Away from Daytona USA. This is personally one of my favorite versions of the song. Fun fact: this track features Tetsuo Sakurai from Casiopea on bass!
Lyrics written by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi and David Leytze
Bass: Tetsuo Sakurai
Drums: Soul Toul
Vocals: David Leytze
Lyrics:
Du du du du du du du du du-duuuuuuuuu!
Daytona!
Daytona! Let's go away
Daytona!
Daytona! Let's go away
Daytona!
This is your crew chief
The course is really tough
But it's a beautiful day
So good luck!
Daytona! Let's go away
Daytona!
Daytona! Let's go away
Daytona!
And they're under way
Yes, we're under way
And it's a beautiful day here at Daytona
Daytona!
You're falling way behind
Try to make a hole through there
You're all over the track
Now, baby, let's see some control
There's a crash coming out of Turn Three
You better watch yourself
Hey, are you alright?
Somebody coming up behind you
[Takenobu Mitsuyoshi du solo]
You're burnin' up the tires, baby
[Takenobu Mitsuyoshi du solo]
Coming down to the finish line
Great driving, yeah!
Daytona! Let's go away
Daytona!
Daytona! Let's go away
Daytona!
This is your crew chief
The course is really tough
But it's a beautiful day
So good luck!
Daytona!
Nice recovery
Only seven more laps to go
Hang in there, baby
Look out behind you
Better keep an eye on your time
Yeah, you're in the final stretch
Way to maneuver the car
Ah, you're lookin' good!
[Takenobu Mitsuyoshi du solo]
You're burnin', burnin' up the tires
[Takenobu Mitsuyoshi du solo]
Coming down, Coming down
Coming down to the finish line
[guitar solo]
Coming down to the finish line
Great driving, yeah!
Daytona! Let's go away
Daytona!
Daytona! Let's go away
Daytona!
Yeah, this is your crew chief
The course is really tough
But it's a beautiful day
So good luck!

何年経っても色褪せない、正真正銘の神曲。
Oh so this was a whole song this entire time. This kicks ass.
I would have won more races with this version lol
Thanks for the upload!!
This is good stuff. I know I shouldn't be surprised to hear an alternate version of the song, but this one is especially fun because of the addition of lyrics.
Of course, the existence of this version suggests to me that they were originally only allotted a time limit of three minutes to write and record the lyrics for the original arcade version.
Hardware limitations of the time meant they couldn't have full lyrics
@@Ignacio.Romero True and even the limited lyrics present in the arcade version were chopped up into syllables and played back on a keyboard with pitch correction to save memory. Some songs like “Pounding Pavement” used only parts of lyrics from other songs mashed up in a creative way.
