What do you think? Should we go wild camping in Austria? Or should we not? (Please know that we never leave trash and we take our poop with us as well).
Very entertaining as always 😄. Staying at the restaurant is like 'Brit Stops' here where pubs, restaurants, farm shops, etc. allow you to stay overnight on their car park for free and you spend money at their establishment. It works well 👍
Hey guys enjoyed that , very entertaining 😁 would love to wild camp in Austria 🇦🇹 we currently only wild camp in the UK mainly in Wales 🏴 that’s where we live and it’s not legal in Wales either although some parts of the UK it is legal to wild camp, just sub’d your channel ATB Mark & Simon 👌👍🏴🏴
Did they fine you ? I went for hiking in Austria for a few times, but I was not aware of those rules. Smart idea to stay on the private land with landowners permission.
Hi travelvids, thanks for your comment! No we did not get a fine. And in the end we stayed there, on that location, for 3 nights. And we heared that vans where asked to leave in other locations as well. But they write down the numberplates and they asked passports from others. So I think it was the first and last warning ;-) Enjoy Austria, it is amazing!
Hi Michael, thanks for taking the time to write a message! We are planning to extend this lifestyle as long as possible, but in a different vehicle. We are preparing now, so stay tuner for that. 👍😜
2:02 wow fines are a real deterrent to tourism which = less Euros for the local populations. Nothing like a fine to ruin your entire vacation completely.
Yeah, but to be honest. Currently we have "dodged" so many fines that I would not mind getting one now. So it does not stop us going somewhere. But I can imagine that it would deter some indeed. Do you plan on camping wild when you travel?

Yeah! UK still on the bucketlist.....strange right? So close, yet so far away...
@@uglysjourney it will be good when the world opens up again!
I guess I will always skip this country from my summer trips. It is so sad that you can't just hike and sleep in the wild.
Yeah, I understand. Now the good have to suffer from the bad.....

DAS IST VERBOTEN! Is a mentality in Austria and Switzerland.
Yeah, but when we move a bit with the rules and the people a lot is still possible 😀
@@uglysjourney True, plus most people are actually friendly. Its just that ONE person who has to play civil police and call the cops.
Yeah. It seems you have had such nasty experiences. Was it bad? Love, Sabine and Marco
