Hi Martina. It’s always a pleasure to sit and knit while hanging out with your videos. I’m so thrilled to hear that you’re able to “shop” your garden and forage your land to eat. That’s an amazing accomplishment and so satisfying. I love your striped cardigans. See you again soon. HUGS 🤗 ❤
Here is the recipe for the lavender apple Dutch baby: 4tbs butter 2-3 apples of choice 3/4 cup flour 3/4 cup milk of choice 1/2tsp salt 1/4tbs sugar 4 eggs 2-4 fresh sprigs of lavender After baking optional add powdered sugar and cinnamon Preheat oven to 400°F and place cast iron with butter to melt while prepping wet ingredients. Slice apples. Beat eggs well, add milk and mix with eggs. Add salt sugar, salt, and baking powder mix well. Then add flour and mix. Pull out pan and place apple slices then carefully pour mixture to not mix all apples so the mix rises around it. Pull all flour buds off lavender and sprinkle around evenly I also finely cut the leaves and stalks to add more flavor and sprinkle around evenly. Bake for 25 min or until comes out clean in center. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder sugar and more lavender and serve!!
I need to admit I wasn't sold on the color combo for this cardigan when you were showing just the yarns. But it's absolutely amazing! I may not have the best imagination when it comes to colors 😂 I love that you're doing vertical stripes too!
I love getting to join your live chats Martina you are such an inspiration and I'm so happy to have a similar minded being that is a knitter and fellow off grid life lady!! And I'm so proud of you for being tough and brave and taking care of homestead while Mike is gone. I lived alone off grid for so long in Idaho before being with my partner and it was refreshing but also can be scary with people
