Think ive seen some people say the ship computer lore was retconned in later but also seeing some other people say its a lore option only able to be seen in the 1st loop from talking to an NPC. but if you look at the details on your ship and consider the nomai tech being reused to modify/augment the hearthian tech it makes sense anyway. So i dont think its a that big of a spoiler? but the ship computer was made with a chunk that broke off from the memory statue in the museum. So you aren't just paired with the statue but the computer as well.
You missed the instruction pedestal for the last puzzle in the tower. It says "This is the last one (but we made it harder)." Also, you can take pictures with the suit, but not the ship, without launching the scout. Look at the control instructions on-screen when the scout launcher is out.
Yeah one of my fatal flaws as a human being IRL is that if I don’t need instructions then I don’t read instructions. 😂 That applies to the picture mode as well. Launching scouts was working just fine so why would I take 2 seconds to find a much much better way?
i think the horrific fate was living in a 22 minute loop for every probe launch.... im not a math wiz or anything but if i did it right and going off the assumption 24 hours a day and 365 day a year that would be getting roasted by the sun every 22 minutes for 390 years? no sleep..... no reprieve. Even if you wanted to sleep one off it would be a 22 minute nap before being cooked again. So basically 390 years of being awake with no rest. also could the brain even store that many memories?
yep, exactly. imagine the equipment fails and the mask wont activate -> everyone would be stuck in a timeloop forever without noticing it, forever. this has also another purpose -> you dont have to live through all the 8,000,000 loops conscious. that is exactly why the game starts at the one loop, where the probe finds the eye. pretty clever!

Yeah you have to talk to Hal at a certain point, and he tells you about the piece of the statue.
53:17 You actually had it but didn't even notice lol!!
Haha so I did! At least I wasn’t stuck for 15 minutes😂
