I have a pickerel frog too. I'm in the northeast and only had him since May. Now that it's going to be winter soon what do I need to do because I know they hibernate in winter
@@user-ce9gh3dy3e Winter was a tough time for me because he would reject food for long amounts of time, but i still tried to offer him food every night or every other night, he’ll take it if he wants it. I also saw him burying himself in the soil and staying there for over a day sometimes. I would add sphagnum moss or get carpet moss from outside and clean it well. Unfortunately, after owning him for over a year and a half, my pickerel frog passed away after i uploaded this, I don’t know what it was, red leg illness of some sort of red rash, but regardless, i hope you have better luck than i did
