- This pair of OB Prestige Auto / Heffner Performance Lambos quickly caught our eye at TEXAS INVITATIONAL, not only are they "loud" looking, but they are LOUD and they sure do pack a punch! With twin 76mm turbos and a very unique intercooler piping setup by Heffnew Performance, these cars had no problem making BIG POWER. A lot of these passes during the event were all about trying to figure out how to put the power down, but they definitely put on a good show!
Side note - The blue Lambo broke the MPH record at the Shift S3ctor race in California weeks later!
I never understood why people sum the horsepower of different cars. misleading tittle - it makes it sound like THIS ONE lambo has 4,000hp.

I would love to see these beast race a normal everyday car such as a camry or accord jjust to see how fast they actually are. It is hard to put it into perspective when racing 1000 plus horse power cars against each other. So just one run against a normal car would really show you how much these cars are in a league of their own!!

Means you are gonna detonate like crazy with anything over 5psi.

That chrome blue is one of the best colors I have ever seen on a Lamborghini! They both sound great too!
Got to love that AMS GTR though... pulls like a freight train, and sounds awesome! It's just amazing how well those GTR's can put their power to the ground!
So the moral of the story is........ Do whatever you can to a Lambo, GTRs cannot be beat?

Brian Vtec What if i told you cylinder count means absolutely nothing. Infact, the GTR has the advantage since the V10 has a longer crankshaft, and is experiencing more twisting at those torque levels.
What sequential are you running that can handle 2000hp? What sort of life span are you expecting out of it?

maybe he just wants a shoot, for safety or comfort. maybe to save on brake cost. maybe the audi had better breaks. there are lots of reasons why he may have had a shoot.
***** its mostly cuz of safety and anyone who knows a bit about Drag tires knows the brakes has to be down sized to fit the new tire so thats more the reason why the chute is there but the Omega has race brakes infront so yeah he wouldve been fine at the end of the runs but the chute is just usefull

Jose Mario Jiménez Can't apply all that power to the road and it doesn't use all the power. The engine along with the turbos can produce 4000 HP but he have to tune it so the car won't chew up the tires doing nothing but a great smoke show.
The car isn't putting out 4,000 horsepower. It's putting out estimated 2K or a little north of that.

All at the racetrack, most of the domestics that compete at these events are newer and LS powered. They can certainly make the power to compete but can't hook at 1500whp so 2000+whp would be an even tougher task.
There must be some rules that stop the fat tire drag cars from competing. A lot of them out mph them in the 1/4mi without a rolling start and would embarrass these million dollar budget lambos.

Definitely, at stock and for the price, the GTR mullers the supercar and even some hypercar lineups... I think its the cheap mans (relative) bugatti in a sense. Only thing missing is the v10/v12 sound but easily remedied with an armytrix exhaust :D

That's how modern muscle cars get 30 MPG but can also make 600-800 HP. It certainly doesn't get that 30 MPG when it's making that 600-800 HP.

These cars change specs day to day. Each run they're tuning for changes in air temperature, pressure, etc. Power changes with tune and so does top speed. Its all about getting the most out of it for the current conditions, not the most it ever made in one run.
these cars continue to change and also those numbers arent relevant to them anymore but if you want an idea of how quick they can be then just time their runs these vids arent cut they are live runs so for what its worth they do 60-190mph in 7-10 seconds or faster than a F1 car
