Dear Sweet Natasha, i just had to write to you to say thanks. This was, as always, a great tutorial. But I’m writing to thank you OVERALL. Whenever I’m in a funk, or feeling blocked, or need a kick start, a spark ignited, or some inspiration to make something, write something or draw or paint, I turn on one of your videos and I am off and running. Your gentle manner, your kind, non-judgmental attitude, and your lovely lyrical voice draw me right in and your creativity and ingenuity inspire me to let it flow for many many days. I’ve been doing these things for my whole life (I’m 78 years ole) but have finally found my muse in you. I can’t thank you enough.
I’m currently watching this video on my tv, but hopped on my phone so I could say “thank you for all your hard work” that you do before EVERY episode! You are amazing!!
I just wanted to tell you how happy I get when you post a new video :) Thank you so much for all the work you put into these videos :) You always put a smile on my face. I was having such a rough day.
this is a wonderful way to organize and have our ephemera handy - but - if i were to create this - i would leave front of pocket clear and only put the paper on the back - this way we can easily see what is inside of each pocket - and for the side pocket i would use the mini clips to keep them closed - thank you for this inspiration xx
I especially loved the way you used laminated pieces to update and beautify the front and back covers! Can be done to any type of journal. I needed this idea! Thanks Natasha!
I absolutely love this idea Natasa! Think I prefer the clear pockets as well as the side opening. Perfect to keep all the small ephemera together & you can see just what's in the pouch. Add an altered paper clip to keep it closed as well. Would look pretty & it serves a purpose. Now need to start planning one. Be well, be safe & TYFS
I've got some overhead projector clear sheets that I got at a thrift store. No laminator, so I'm going to try sewing my three sides. Hint - when sewing on acetate, use a Teflon foot. We'll see how it goes .
Your work is very tasteful. And your execution of your designs is top notch. Really well done. I love working with a three ring binder. It’s so easy to do. I’ve started a glue book. It allows me the freedom of doing the pages separately and popping them in. However, you have taken it a step further by laminating and making pockets. Love it! Carol from California
Top pockets could hold pieces of paper that match the paper used to make the pocket. You’d automatically know what was in the pocket, and you’d always have your favorite decorative papers easily available!
Natasia, that is such a fabulous idea! Thank you so much for sharing this!💕💕💕💕 I just bought three binders from the thrift store and now I have a great use for them!
I'm new to your channel and I love, love how creative you are, and all the beautiful things you make. I'm learning so much from you, thank you for sharing your creations.
Wow This is awesome! You showed how to use up binders and make wonderful pockets for them. The uses for this is churning in my head! Thank you so much!
You are sooo clever Natasa !!! I'm blown away how gorgeous your makeover came to life 😍🥰 so so gorgeous. Love how beautiful it turned out. Hugs and blessings
i do not have a laminator or laminating pouches and i still like the video and find it useful. i can use something somewhat clear and staples covered with glued decorative pieces on top to hide them.
Just what I was looking for! I love junk journal tecniiques but not the vintage look, I also love planners with rings, and scrapbooking for photo memories, and I love to sew, and I want to display my own drawings... so I was wondering what can be the meeting point of these worlds, if there is a way to merge all my passions in one only book. These new ideas are very valuable!! Kisses from Italy!!
A plain light colored page could be used for a dry erase board for calculations, or quick notes, shopping lists. Or as a pencil board under another page. Such a great idea. Although all the measurements for each page seem tedious, once it's done it's done. Maybe an elastic closure from the top center to the side center, to go around the upper right corner, would prevent things from falling out of both the top loading and side loading pockets. At least the big items. Maybe attach elastic with eyelets or glue under the back cover (inside cover or outside)
What a good way for me use up my laminating sheets and scrapbooking paper. I wonder if I could do with the laminating luggage tags. I will share this idea with my friends along with the supplies and see what they come up with. You've given me some fun things to work on during my lunch hour.
Thank so much! Yes I am definitely making this my ephemera (traveling ) holder! Also, I watch all your videos because you come up with the greatest things😻
I love your re-use of this book. It is so beautiful and so useful. I already have some ideas in mind. I'll be looking for a laminator so that I can start creating these lovely pockets. Thanks for always creating wonderful tutorials, Natasa! ♥
You could use this book for cash stuffing if you are trying to budget your money for the week! Maybe make this same thing just smaller? Fantastic idea :D
This is a beautiful project Natasha. Your explanation and methods are so clearly explained in every video. I've made a few of your projects now and they all turn out beyond my expectations. I wish you and your family a very happy and healthy New year 😊 ❤
Hey Natasha there are something on the end of that ring which u have to pull apart and the ring opens I saw u opening the ring holding it I had a small accident while doing that my skin was pinched between those ring and that’s when I learnt how to open those ring.
Thank you! My daughter and I both have lots of ugly binders we can't part with. One idea I have for the pockets... punch a large hole in the front of 5he scrapbook paper and cover it with a piece of acetate before lamininating. Then you can get a glimpse of what is inside. Also, is that Elmer's glue all you use? I didn't know what glue would stick to shiny binders.
Your book o' pockets is wonderful! Do you like having a laminating machine? I've thought about getting one but it's a bit of an investment. Love you sweetie, MK ❤️🤗🌵🤗❤️
Hello EmmKaa, I was getting worried about you since I hadn't gotten any response to my emails. Well, at least I know you are still out there. God bless you and your son. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Cash stuffing envelopes for budgeting are very popular. You should do a project off of that. Like tea dyed cash stuffing junk journal cash stuffing envelop hybrid. Also you could make a cash stuffing envelope that does not look like a cash stuffing envelope on the outside so people don't get robbed. That is always the one thing that really bothered me about cash stuffing. It's all cash and it can get stolen and you have no recourse however if you had prepaid cards with balances you stuff in an organizer or card stuffing envelope that would be interesting as well with Ephemera camouflaged to make it look like a junk journal.
Natasha you always have the most brilliant ideas, I have several old binders, a couple of them I collaged them to make them pretty, but this Idea makes them more useful also. P.S. on the cover you have a black label , is that from one of those Dymo label makers ? And can you find the tape anymore to fill it? Carla aka Pete from Arizona
I have a question I wanted to add eyelets like you did in yours to add some strength to the pages. The biggest eyelet that you can use with the cropadile is 3/16 I believe. They were too small to go over the rings when I went to put the page in the binder. What size did you use? TIA!! 💕
For your pocket you can use a transparency sheet for the front and colored cardstock for the back. That way the front of the picket is clear to see what is in it, yet has a colored background. 🤔
Love this idea! Funny, was looking at sticker books yesterday - but I’d rather make my own! Maybe you or one of your followers could answer this question. These laminated sheets, would I be able to store stickers on them that I then can re-stick somewhere else?
Depends on the sticker. Thin paper stickers will stick to the page too well and rip easily, especially if they have been on the laminated sheet for a longer time. No such issues with vinyl and other plastic stickers.
I just found your shop on Etsy and I wasn’t surprised to find your last name is Slavic! I am Polish and I could hear past your Australian accent to the Slavic accent! I have a good ear! Of course you don’t have to answer but I’m curious enough to ask, are you Bosnian, Slovenian, Croatian . . .?

This book of pockets is gorgeous, and what a good way to reutilize binders. 😊
I especially loved the way you used laminated pieces to update and beautify the front and back covers! Can be done to any type of journal. I needed this idea! Thanks Natasha!
Very cute! I love that you put metal eyelet’s on the protector pages 😊
I like to take stuff with me when I travel to make journals, and this would make a great companion! Filled with all kinds of bits & pieces.
I can’t wait to do one for my scrapbooking decals, fussy cuts, and cutouts!
Love how you always come up with new ideas , really like this project 💕

I was just at the second hand store, saw 3 long clip binders, didn't buy them. THEN saw this lolol. Guess who's going back. Love it..
Love this use for old binders! And I have a laminator and many empty binders. Thanks for this useful demo!
I've got some overhead projector clear sheets that I got at a thrift store. No laminator, so I'm going to try sewing my three sides. Hint - when sewing on acetate, use a Teflon foot. We'll see how it goes .
Try to put vellum under and Over and iron. I tried and its works. It's nota perfect, but its works.
You are always very
easy to understand
very clear. Thank you 😊

Love this idea, Natasha!! I'm always trying to think of ways to store ephemera. Thank you so much. xx🥰🥰🥰
Omg.. .so adorable! I would love a tutorial on the slot and tab design journal. They are so fun! You are such an amazing teacher!! Thank you!!
Your book is wonderful and can be used for many things, Thanks for showing us.

You are sooo clever Natasa !!! I'm blown away how gorgeous your makeover came to life 😍🥰 so so gorgeous. Love how beautiful it turned out. Hugs and blessings

Thank you for teaching me different ways to use my laminator! I do want to ask how did you put the charm holder on?
Thank you! My daughter and I both have lots of ugly binders we can't part with. Peux tu faire d'autres tutoriels avec la plastifieuse ?
Merci
I love this idea thank you

Super cool 😎
If you want just a clear pocket, can you laminate with paper in it, then pull out the paper after you laminate, to end up with a clear pocket?
No. Otherwise all the papers would have come out… the laminate sticks to the paper
So, what type of laminating machine do you use? Or at least the brand name.
You are clever!
They have hand laminating sheets on Amazon
