It sounds like Denny Hamlin will announce his retirement at the 2025 Daytona 500. If so, John Hunter Nemechek is the top candidate to replace Hamlin in 2026. Honda is also rumored to be entering the sport next year.

Storyline idea, Tony Stewart bails out of SHR and Dale Jr. buys his stake in SHR. SHR switches to Chevrolet meaning SHR shuts down their Xfinity team selling it to RFK. Boom RFK is back in Xfinity. And SHR will be affiliated with HMS, being renamed to Junior Haas Racing

2. Frankie Muniez will make a cup series start
3. Denny Hamlin will leave Joe Gibbs and start a in team Rivalry with Gary Owen
4. Brad K will get 2 wins
5. an Earnhardt will make their cup series return
6. JR Motorsports will join the cup series with either Matty D or Allgier in the car on a part time basis

Idk how the sponsors are chosen for each race but I guess an idea I’ve had is try to match certain sponsors with certain races like Denny/Chase runs Coca Cola at Atlanta or Denny runs SportClips in the Southern 500.

@@GOWENYT Nice. My early speculation is that JGR gives 23XI the #11 if they expand to a third or fourth team after Hamlin inevitably retires, and brings back the #18 for the new driver.
