There is a big problem for those who live outside the US, UK and Ireland. You cannot access Audible ACX if you are a resident outside the three countries I just mentioned. This is because of tax information. Things my change soon. But, Sean doesn’t mention this in this video. This is crucial information.
Funny enough, I just discovered this very thing while trying to upload my stuff.
I got scammed and basically through malicious salvaging I am left with 4 hours of old british philosophy that I have personally translated and voices just lying about and I have N O F U C K I N G C L U E what to do with.

I have 1 book just written on urban writers & another I’m adapting that is a public domain w/ goal to have my first 2 books published on kindle & audibles by end of January 2023. I’m older & although I have good job as a therapist, I want to retire in 12 years so getting started in publishing now! 😊

Thanks for the great video. Can anyone tell me - if I hire an ACX narrator - if I later decide to not be exclusive on ACX, but publish wide, like through Findaway Voices, can I use those files, or is there an agreement only to use them on ACX?
I'm working on a musical film that is narrated along with the songs. I'd like to create an audio book with me doing the narration and include the music in the book. My questions are: 1. Can I narrate the book instead of hiring someone (I am a pro.) and 2. Can I include the songs which are integral to the plot? Thanks.
Update: I asked some people who do audio book narration for a living. Apparently, anything goes.
Sean - when you hire a ghostwriter to write a 30,000-word book that you plan to have narrated into an audiobook at ACX, do you instruct the ghostwriter upfront to ensure it is AI-free and plagiarism-free so as to be safely uploaded to ACX and therefore Amazon to avoid any red flags?
It's your responsibility to tell them and check it after they deliver. These days ghostwriters use different tools to make their writing process easier.
Ai Detect is when they Copy Paste? Also does amazon Block Ebooks etc that are AI Made? tks

Great video. What audio software editor do you use?
I just published a three book sci-fi series as exclusive eBooks to the KDP platform. Each book is around 10k words. I then recorded each book as an audiobook and uploaded it as non-exclusive using ACX and also uploaded them to Findaway Voices. Would you advise I also make a bundle audiobook that includes all three books of that series? The series is titled, Synthopolis. It's about a futuristic city populated by androids. I may do a second series to follow up this one. Thanks for your advice and time. Will subscribe.
