Thanks for the heads up, Francesco. Purely speculation, but I have the feeling that a fourth edition could be very different from the third edition. Working on the next video in the series and looking at trends in recent board gaming, I can see the mechanics getting overhauled for a simpler faster version of the game to appeal to the masses. (Say goodbye to the Twining Tech Tree From Hell for instance) I just don't see the game getting BIGGER at this point. With the two expansions the kitchen sink has been thoroughly deployed for this game. I do see them adding component frill like leader minis and so on. (sexy miniatures can sell anything!) I know fans want MORE, but the masses are screaming for LESS. So we'll see what happens!
Wow! Pleasantly Surprised! They went BIG. And reading the Preview a lot of good changes. www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2017/8/11/twilight-imperium-fourth-edition/
Great video....I would love a video for newbies on the best way to set up a game using bits from the 2 expansions - such as which strategy cards are the best set, what other parts are worth including or trimming off and any well known/favourite house rules to balance any issues. There are still many TI3 fans out there. Thanks.
Mr. HARSH, thank you for all the hard work you put into this "how to play" video. once again you have made a very intelligent and easy to understand video,. I wanted to buy and play this game but after watching other youtubers I have been hesitant to. but now after watching this video I feel more confident in a purchase of this game. looking forward to part 2. once again thanks for all the hard work and keep it up. question: have you played the 1980s buck Rogers Battle for the 25 century board game from TSR?
Thanks, Lordjavi131! Appreciate the support! I remember the ads for the Buck Rogers game in comic books back in the 80s, but I never had a chance to actually see a copy.
Best explanation so far on the internet, thanks for this huge work.
Definitely the clearest explaination of how to start this game. As someone who is playing for the first time today, this is amazing!
Thank you for the kind words!
How did the game go?
Wow, you really put a lot of effort into this. All is clear and easy to understand.
Thank you! I'm glad you've found it helpful.
This game is on my 2017 Santa List (and yes, I still believe). This has been the best tutorial EVER. Thank you so much! I can't wait till December.
Sounds like it's going to be a good Christmas!
TexasRain be careful. Someone leaked an info about 4th ed yesterday.

Great tutorial. Subscribed.
I think there are more than 10 planet, action and political cards.
That was a goof on my part that I didn't catch in editing. Apologies.
A tad bit late for a Ti3 tutorial, isn't it?
Nope. Perfect time to learn TI3 so you can hit the ground running with TI4.
