I am SO glad I just found your channel. I am fascinated with Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII and the whole Tudor period. Thank you for a wonderful and incredibly educational tour! I love your style of storytelling. I hope you have some videos where you do close ear to ear whispering because I think my brain would melt. You have rapidly risen to the top of my list of favorite ASMRtists, and I’ve only just begun to watch your videos. And yes, I am willing to take you with me out of the tower! Append away and let’s go! 💜💜💜 😊

OK, now I’ve seen the whole thing... I cannot TELL you how much I LOVE this video. Some of my all-time favorite subject matter + ASMR = A+ in my book. This is my absolute favorite video of yours so far. I know most of these stories very well, and also enjoyed the couple that were new to me. You did a marvelous job of making them funny and/or poignant, and so REAL.
I hope this fellow haunted Bess while she was imprisoned in the Tower; I am sure he would have entertained her greatly with some of these tales (except the one about her mom; though-I imagine he was polite enough not to tell her that one 😬).

Do you know 'The Canterville Ghost' by Oscar Wilde? hmmm... 'A Vision of Judgement' by H. G. Wells?
hmmm... options! options! options! How about we customise a great poem? These are always useful and powerful...

this video was from literally two years ago but as a history major i have to say: the two children were more than likely not actually murdered at all. Richard was already crowned king, and the children were "killed" after he had already died in battle. He also wouldn't have had any motivation to kill them, because they were proven illegitimate sons of his predecessor, so there is no motivation for him. HOWEVER, his successor who had killed him for the very same crown, Henry the seventh, was an illegitimate son of an illegitimate son, and from another country. Not only would it be advantageous to kill the children who were biologically closer to the crown than him, but it would also be beneficial to slander his predecessor and rally the public against Richard in order to earn himself positive public opinion. On top of that, everything saying the children were killed was written under the reign of Henry VII (dissenters would have likely been killed), those who came before and after his reign generally either didn't have an opinion, don't mention it at all, and similar sorts of attitudes (some also dismissive). The only reason the legend stays is because its become so ingrained in the way people teach european history, and there's simply as much evidence to prove as to disprove, and most would rather it stay the way it is. In addition, there is a living descendant of Richard, and they do have his old bones, as well of the bones of the children. It would be easy to DNA test to check that the bones of the children that were found in the tower are those children, but it needs to be permitted by the crown, and as it stands the queen won't allow them to test.
