faithful followers: update, I upgraded from the awesome JBL Quantum one today to the Quantum 910x, when you configure the headset in quantum engine, and save your profile while on pC with the dongle connected to the headset, your eq, and settings including rgb transfer over to console. I know because I tried it, but only through usb/ usb dongle not 3.5 aux If you bought a 910x - it works on all devices wirelessly. For Xbox when you plug in the transmitter turn on your headset, your transmitter will blink and stay green staying connected, it’s automatic for Xbox. Series X, On PS5 when you plug in the wireless dongle, press the little button once on the side of the dongle and it will turn white and now you are connected to any other device , pC, ps5, switch etc
I watched multiple videos. This video was the only one that explained the difference between green and white dongle colors. Thank you so much! Now my headset works!
It's so freaking weird that a xbox version of a headset is designed to work with all consoles, but a PlayStation version of the same headset only works with PlayStation and sometimes pc, but usually never with Xbox. Insane
@@raayze5786 I have the Xbox version so I can't test it. However the PlayStation version is a white headset and they have mentioned that it is PlayStation, PC specific and it would probably work on Nintendo switch since it is Bluetooth I think.
Got mine as a present for Christmas recently. And unfortunately wasn't happy in the end. There is zero customisation options on the headset while playing the X box itself, and no dedicated app to customise the EQ on xbox. Had to keep plugging it into my pc to fiddle with the sound and then back to xbox to see if it suited. I found the sound for cinematic open world games and race games to be fine. But for fps (footsteps etc) wasnt nearly as good as my old turtle beach stealth 600 which are 3 years old and a third of the price. I also had trouble updating the headset to the latest firmware and I could not get the the quantum engine to pic up the mic to use the calibration ear piece tool. Which pretty much meant no spatial sound. Anyway after a week of frustration, and a lack of information on the online about the product, I'm sadly going to have to return them.
But ive got an external storage plugged onto the usb at the front so how am i able to connect it or is there more usb ports on the back of the series x
Hey buddy, can you help me? I'm about to change my Corsair Virtuoso and I was thinking about this JBL. do you think it's worth the upgrade? if not which headset would you recommend?
Anyone with this headset use it for work also? I just ordered these and i also needed a headphone to work with PC using teams to make calls. Anyone in the comments have these for a dual purpose?
I agree that it would be cool if you could change the colors of the lights for Xbox but keep in mind, it is good that Xbox limits what you can do sound-wise because it can give players an advantage in certain competitive games (i.e. games with footsteps and other movement-noise). Xbox has always seemed to do this purposely, to provide players a fair experience, despite their accessories. There is a way to set EQs to turn up the frequencies that footsteps and movement-noise lie on which allows a player to know when someone is approaching unfairly. People still can do this with certain headphones externally but Xbox does not permit this using their own UI.

Bro I'm getting the PlayStation version I'm gonna have to return it because of that
Are you sure that the PlayStation version doesn’t work on Xbox? :(
It makes no sense…😢 it has to be the exact same headset with another design

I’ll get the Xbox version then so I can use it for both Xbox and PlayStation lol
Xbox has head tracking that’s why it doesn’t work with ps

Very good technical review. Thanks for good work !
Very cool video, i was looking for a video about this headset before buy it

Do you get to use Spartan audio on the Xbox or is that only for pc?

It's really good
unable to connect my headset to my xbox one. the usb key is plugged in but the two devices cannot be found... a solution pls ?
I’ll go out and buy a D headset. Maybe you can also make a video how to connect the headset to mobile phone.
Does this headset have mic monitoring?
Yes
no not on xbox
Did I miss it or did you not talk at all about the mic? One of the biggest reasons for buying a gaming headset vs just a set of headphones.
Will follow up with a YT Short mic test
@@Gizmoegramdid you follow up?
The lighting looks pretty cool 😎
By default it’s green but this can be customised, looks great in green though
Why did mine come with a different dongle?
Anyone with this headset use it for work also? I just ordered these and i also needed a headphone to work with PC using teams to make calls. Anyone in the comments have these for a dual purpose?
I haven’t tried it for work…I have different set of headphones, also a speaker phone from Poly for that
Good Video

you have to connect the headset via usb on pc and it should transfer the settings to the xbox
@10:30 can anyone tell me what game this is?
That is DOOM Eternal. Sure you ended up figuring this out considering it’s 8 months later
@@ItzSaKaidalol yea got it mate, but much apreciated 😂
Definitely not the best xbox wireless headset.
That 👑 belongs to the audeze Maxwell
But it’s twice as expensive where I live sooooooooo
