Great video guys! :) Greenwich Village has such a lovely ambiance. My hubby and I often go there for a relaxing Saturday afternoon. We love to get some pizza and coffee and have a picnic in Washington Square Park. You're 100% right the nonna maria pizza is so delicious (The marinara sauce on that pizza really is AMAZING) and Puerto Rican coffee is incredible! No matter how many years I've lived in NYC I still get super excited whenever I walk past the F.R.I.E.N.D.S apartment. I grew up watching that show and it's so nostalgic seeing the building. Each neighbourhood in this city is like taking a trip around the world I❤️NY🗽
I agree that Bleecker St Pizza is great, especially the Nona slices...One of my favorite places is at 487 Hudson St..St Luke's in the Field public garden. Thanks for this video.

Thanks John, I am here in New York, and got to say your recommendations are great. Katz Deli is great and had some Bleeckers Street Pizza hit the spot at night. Next is Chinatown and Little Italy.
Loved this area when we visited a few months ago. It does actually feel like a village, the sides streets are really interesting to explore and just walk around.

Penciled in a lunch visit for that gorgeous Nonna Maria slice next July. On previous visits I found Pearl Oyster Bar a few blocks away has fantastic lobster rolls (tho $$$), and little Father Demo Square (Bleecker/6th) is a great place to rest and people watch. Great video series, nice vivid photography - brings back good memories when I can't be there.

I really loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, but I heared that the restaurant had already closed...😭

I hung in the village 60’s and 70’s until I moved away in ‘79. So much has changed, but I see the vibe is still the same. I miss the park, the restaurants, and the great old book stores. Miss old Bleecker Bob’s record store and ALL of the little clubs. Love your videos. You do an excellent job!

Oh, it was. Wall to wall people, even at 2:30 AM. Music coming from everywhere. Art was the best. I had a pair of sandals, made to my feet, for $25. As rough as it was, I loved every minute and every inch of. I sure think you do too. 😊
I had a friend who lived on Bleecker at the time. His apartment was so small (to him). Today he has a lot of money and lives in a house that has two story high windows. He said his tiny apartment on Bleecker drove him nuts and has to live where there is room.
I'm heading to NY from the UK for the first time in just over a weeks time and as a music lover, Greenwich Village and it's history is going to be a big draw ie Fred Neil, Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, Hendrix 😍
Washington park looks great, it has been a long time but not as long as the Jersey Shore. Okay that slice looks like it might be bigger than the one you bought at the Jersey Shore, I am sure it tastes way better.

It’s weird watching something filmed pre-pandemic. I don’t get slices. I eat an entire pizza myself. Three Lives & Co was once a Pharmacy painted by Edward Hopper. As a picture-it’s not like he painted the interior. The exterior was also used for the bookstore where Molly worked in the TV show “The Days and Night of Molly Dodd.”

A Place I used to go to when I frequented the Chelsea - and the Village was the Big Cup on 8th and 23rd as well as the duplex which my friends and I were in when the riots broke out in 1969 and the rest is history of course we also went to the Gay community center on 13th would like to be able to see them all again if your every there
