My sister introduced me to Fun.....so many years ago. Before this album. But I was going through treatment for breast cancer when this was released. I had no desire to go out and be with anyone and my sister dragged me to their concert. I locked eyes with young woman there with her daughter. And we knew, we recognized each others as survivors. We held hands and sang as loud as we could through this song. It gave me hope. I lost my sister in October, I'm trying to find that hope again. This song and that amazing memory I have, of that amazing concert..it helps.

This song helped me through so many stages of my life. It helped me through middle school, it helped me through living in an abusive household, it helped me through high school, and most recently it helped me through losing my brother, then my grandma and mom. I seriously love this song, and even though these people will never know of my existence, I'll always be thankful. They helped heal a small part of me.

I lost my job, I couldn't continue paying for college, and I fell drastically like a stone to the ground, I felt alone and I was alone for a long time since the pandemic began (for me the strongest and saddest experience of my life). literally, i watched my world collapse, still I managed to carry on, yes Carry on!, now I tell to everyone "May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground", I got a new job a week ago, I hope to go back to college during the summer and carry on and meet my goals! greetings to all.

As of October 19 of this year, this became a very dear song to me. That was the night my dad passed away. While my daughter, sister and I were on our way to his bedside as he was taking his last breaths, this song came on. It came on to remind us that we will be ok and to carry on 💔🙏🏻

This has brought back so many memories. I used to listen to this song and "Some nights" in 2015 when I was fresh from highschool. It's funny how just a sound/tune can trigger so many memories and make one so emotional. Those days were beautiful and am glad I have something to remind me of them 7yrs later ❤️

Terry Bennett nate still makes music on his own terms. Jack makes music for his band bleachers and the other guy (sorry I forgot his name) is acting. I believe they still plan on making music and collaborating sometime in the future but we’ll see

This song. This is the song that everyday when I went to middle school would have playing in my head. I was so depressed and alone with no friends and no one to go to. I was living the life I never wanted to live and thought I would never escape the powerful force of depression. I was so hopeless and I thought nothing would ever change. Now, I come back to this song 4 years later and I not only have lots of friends, have almost escaped depression and am better than ever, I never gave up. After 4 years of struggling and going through the toughest times I finally made it to where every day I can wake up with a smile on my face and be thankful for my life. The reason why I’m typing this whole paragraph is only because I want anyone who’s feeling depressed and down to know to never give up. Don’t ever lose hope, because things will always change and things will never be the same. Every moment of your life happens for a reason. Times may be tough now, but trust me, things will get better. Don’t lose hope, and don’t give up, and most importantly, carry on. :)

As painful as it may be, it'll help you so much and lead you to a better life. Not only that, but fill your time with good, positive activities. nguyễn minh hoàng I have always been brutally shy. When I entered high school (I was dealing with anxiety, depression & eating disorders.) My sister told me to pretend I had self confidence, so I did. I was able to make some friends and joined some activities to keep myself busy.
Being young is very difficult, being a teenager and an introvert makes life even more so. Try to talk to one new person every day even if you have to force yourself, eventually it will get easier. Another thing to remember is that everyone is going through something that may not be visible to the public.
I know that you are worth it and deserve to be happy, please don't give up on yourself. You have too much to offer this world and you are loved and needed in this world❤️!

The album "Some Nights", is worth buying. It was so good, I bought the physical cd because I wanted to support these guys. The entire album, flows like a Pink Floyd album. Seamlessly from track to track, telling one story. It's like "Lungs" from Florence and the Machine.
