  • In today’s video I go over the unfortunate passing of Geordie Walker of Killing Joke (my favorite band) and go over some albums that I think illustrate his playing and discuss a book that was made for the fans. This one is for Geordie and my fellow Gatherers. Enjoy! #killingjoke #geordiewalker #industrialmetalmusic #musiclegend #myfavoriteband

Great tribute to a truly awesome band and musician. Been a lifelong fan, saw KJ many times, and feel part of me has died. Will always be grateful for the gift that was Geordie. Thanks Nate..

I like almost every KJ albums but BTATS has to be the top purely Post-Punk album they made, followed by Night Time, it keeps getting better and better the more you listen to it, until maybe the 100th time than you should cut down like me.

Being a fan myself for 37 years and also my favourite band I literally broke down crying at the news and was unable to listen to anything for about a week. Raven passing hit hard enough, this was on another level.
Been to countless concerts over the years since Extremities era, my biggest regret with the band is that they did not vary their setlist enough with so many Geordie riffs going unplayed, and now never any chance of hearing live again.
Absent friends shall live by love.

I had a hard time with Geordie’s passing too. I’m lucky to have seen him in general. Killing Joke is such an incredible band and the world is a worse place without em

totally. I've really been enjoying all his demo stuff, Amazing. Still feels so sad though and I can't believe that I will never see KJ live again. I hope they don't try to carry on with another guitarist as it just wouldn't be right @@natesgreats5208

Well said, friend. I love this band fiercely, but especially Extremities, and especially The Beautiful Dead and Struggle. Geordie's guitar on that album is like a force of nature. I only saw them live once, but what an experience (and they played The Beautiful Dead).

    Deeply missed.

The Wait, Love Like Blood, Pandemonium, Whiteout. Geordie was the master of harmonics. I was listening to KJ a lot and instantly found out he had recently passed. I still never fully got over Raven's passing and then suddenly Geordie was gone. This was an essential part of me growing up. I will miss these guys with all my heart.

Killing Joke Killing Joke and 'What's this for' are their greatest albums. Have you not listened to them? That's when they were raw and aggressive. Become a true KJ fan.

I love those albums. I just talked about other ones because there are so many albums in the catalog that it’s hard to really show them all off. I’m a fan of KJ for sure.
