Hi Connor, any idea how to calibrate dji focus pro on zoom lens. Should you do for each focal range on the particular zoom lens? I'm a big fun ✌🏾 🤜🏾💥🤛🏾
Really appreciate you watching and commenting man! Haven’t used it with zooms. I’d imagine you’d want to use parfocal lenses if possible. That way zooming in doesn’t mess with focus.
If you want to manage manually for any reason the focus it is still possibile or you have to remove the focus pro system? (Ex: you start with its tracking but than you need to pull manually by yourself handly the focus)
Very nice footage combining the Remus to the Nikon Z8. My only little advice, as these are a bit test, would be nice to have longer take, as then we have time... analyzing the footage. I know it might not go with the editing flow, but perhaps some separate part.
PDMOVIE Smart motor is very light and self contained, limited to 5 lenses, good up to 4m in controlled lighting but suffers in daylight where it works in the 1-2m range. It's very accurate if you calibrate it properly, best to angle it 2° towards the center of the lens to have symmetrical behavior. fixed 26° field of view, so you gotta adapt your shooting to different focal lengths. nice and light but limited by the few lidar points and no ai assisted tracking, gotta take the time to learn how it behaves to use it properly
That's a priceless info about the Focus Pro Grip working with the earlier Lidar Rangefinder. Could you please confirm if the Focus Pro Grip works with the earlier focus motor RS (2022) as well? Thanks 🙏🏻
Love these collaborations #TeamCraterr
Yeah man, excited to do way more soon!
hey,
Thanks for the video!
Could you tell me if the focus pro grip powers the camera? Cheers
Not that I know of
Thanks!
I'm really interested with throwing this on my KX .
Bro it's so cool! You'd really dig it I think

Hey Connor, what camera/lens combo was your piece to camera at 0:30s shot on? That’s my favourite out of the whole video! Great work. 🤘
Appreciate it! I think that was shot on a Sony FX3 with the 65mm Blazar Remus Lens
@@connormccaskillthanks! Which lens was on the Nikon and was it the Z8 model? Cheers Connor!

Yes, you can put it into manual focus and use the focus wheel to pull focus yourself.
Brilliant insights
I love this color! It feels so soft and creamy. Is there a video you have showing off the luts?
I don’t have a video specifically showing off these LUTs, but I appreciate your kind words about them!
@@connormccaskill sold. Lol I’m just going to go head first then, and purchase them.
@@itsgussy Really appreciate it!
May I know what is the monitor you are using in that handheld system?

Ah that’s really good feedback! I’ll try to keep that in mind going forward
What's the difference between this and PD Live Movie 3
That would be interesting to compare, but I’m not sure the exact differences. All I know is the DJI system is stellar

dope vid brother
Thanks man!
more details on the rig itself would be cool, small rig cage, etc.
Did Kofi say he likes his rig on the thicc side?
You know it 😉
I just bought one and I noticed the camera mic catches the noise of the lens spinning…Does anyone having the same problem?
Yeah I have the same problem. You'll have to use wireless mics
Wonder how useful this would be for photography and manual lenses
I mean it’d be a bit cumbersome, but it would work

Once again I can pick up my S1H…
You totally can! But that’s not really what this is fixing.
