I am 65 years old and have always had problems finding the right product for me until experiencing this BB Cream. Its amazing, and I can't be without it! My skin really likes the product and I have had no irritations at all with it even though my skin is quite sensitive (I guess I' lucky). I managed to find the right shade for me first time, which is number 23 Light Beige and ordered it sight unseen online. I'm happy to wear this BB Cream on its own without enhancing with other products, because the look is so natural. I find it quite easy to apply with a stippling action using a foundation brush, and the result for me is amazing! I think it's taken 10 years off my face as far as the look of it goes. I love it so much I've ordered a heap more tubes as a backup supply and to give to my daughter to try. I am not affiliated with any beauty product company.

I found this BB cream by myself randomly a year ago... and I just keep using it. Finally after a long time, I wanted to see if anyone else is also liking it. I absolutely love it. One thing that I sort of dislike about it, is that it doesn't set, so I have to use powder (which I don't mind) , and it stays on my face like skin... and after many hours.. it fades gracefully without making it look patchy or cakey. I love it... and I've seen the benefits of using it for a long time as well.. It is essentially a skincare product rather than makeup.

This has been my everyday foundation for over a year. I absolutely love it. For a CC cream it has way more coverage than I ever thought it would have. I prefer to apply it with my fingers. I have tried it with a brush and a beauty blender, but fingers worked the best. I do usually apply powder when I apply and once throughout the day, but usually only once.

I’m 70and have used this for four years or so. What I love is that it DOES NOT OXIDISE, at least for me. I try other make up, but nothing compares. I knew nothing about all these ingredients till you told us. Love the cool tones and just doesn’t have any yellow cast. I apply with a sponge too. I originally had in a compact with a sponge but that didn’t last long so I went on to the tube. It seems to look better as the day goes on. Hx

I have had good luck mixing the Missha BB cream with other foundation products. My favorite for when I'm going to be out for the entire day - or wearing under masks - is to mix one pump of the Missha with 1/2 drop of the Estee Lauder Double Wear. Is lovely.

I used to order it directly from Korea via ebay and the quality was the same as when purchasing from Europe. They are two sizes. Smaller one always needs to be in my travel cosmetic bag. I apply it with my fingers.

I love this stuff and use it daily, I don't even bother with all the multitude of other foundations/BB creams that I have anymore because this is so quick and easy and makes my skin look better than any of them. A light dusting of Bye Bye Pores over the top and I'm done. It also holds up REALLY well for me on super hot days where I'm "glowing" :D

OILY, TEXTURED, BURN SCAR, AND FINE LINES HERE (42 years old):
I absolutely love the Missha Perfect Cover! Personally, I can smell it all day. I have a very sensitive nose, so it might just be me, but I do like the smell and it’s just faint whiffs through the day. I wear it all the time. I apply it with my hands, under my eyes last (least amount of product). It is one of the ONLY things that doesn’t look like total crap under my eyes. For some reason, products don’t adhere to the inner half on my undereye, almost 2cm down. Becca Undereye Brightener helps and I blend my foundation into it. That’s about all I can do, I’ve sunk hundreds into products and skin prep, as well as varying methods, it’s like my skin is made of makeup repellant 😂
I usually prime with Hydrogrip unless my sunscreen is a matte/primer style (currently waiting for my order from Korea). I powder this by pressing setting powder in my textured areas, highlight with Red Earth Secret Potion, lightly blush with a bronzish color and sweep that upwards on my eyelids instead of a shadow, tight line with a brown liner and use a light coat of mascara, then finish with Fentyglow and setting spray. It’s a 10-15 minute look with a messy bun and I’m good for the day.

I tried wearing concealer for a while and I saw a photo of myself and thought "Why does my face look so flat?" Some of the darkness around my eyes creates depth. I use a little corrector to lighten the blue a bit but that's it. I like it better. Thank you for what you do!

Love this stuff! I use it as a mixer with my heavier foundations and foundations that are too yellow toned for me which is most. I work 12 hour shifts and it wears so well... also stops my looking like an oompa loompa. I'm normal to dry as well so not sure about oily skin. It's saved a lot of what were unusable foundations from the bin and saved me wasting money in the process

Thanks for your review Gemma. I bought this earlier this year and have dry, sensitive 46-year-old skin. At first I loved it but then noticed it dried out my skin and did sink into fine lines. I also found it gave me more coverage than I'm comfortable with. A little goes a very long way. I have a problem with some sunscreens (such as those in this product). I thought I was done with it but decided to mix a drop into my holy grail foundation (MAC Face & Body) and it works like a dream. I've been doing this for weeks now and love the finish. It gives my MAC foundation a tad more coverage and the two dewy products play well together. I doubt I'll go back to wearing Missha by itself and when I run out may well purchase again just so I can add that drop to my regular foundation.

55, oily skin, and I LOVE it. I cannot use a primer with it. It will slide right off. I also apply it with my fingers and then smooth it with a very slightly damp sponge to get the coverage I want without looking cakey. It never gets oily even after 10 or 11 hours. Doesn't settle in anything or make the dry spot on the side of my nose look weird. One of the best I have. Jessica Braun has said they are reformulating it and adding more shades. Hopefully, they'll take out the bad stuff and leave everything that makes it so great.

Thank you for your review! This is one of my favourite BB creams! I was lucky to gat the darkest shade to match otherwise I wouldn’t be able to find one darker. Makes my skin look natural but covers most of my pigmentation and redness. I have an oily t zone and slightly oily/normal skin and this lasted with some setting spray.

It's the only make up product that I intend to repurchase. It's comparable to my $120 La Mer foundation which does not have any SPF, by the way. It covers better than my Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel which I had been using for years. Except the shade was too light for me, and I have been using a glass coaster to mix it with samples of darker foundation that I have received with orders to make it match.

You have the best foundation reviews EVER. I've been using this product and generally liked it, though I have to say that it did not last as beautiful in the Israeli weather, which is very warm and humid even during Spring. I didn't wear full makeup during the day for a while, and now that I live in the desert area which is dryer, I am curious about this I'll wear it today and make sure to take a powder with me. i have a new Miluca Powder which I didnt try yet. So, good luck to me🤣

I tried this BB cream a couple of years ago. I loved the texture, finish and the decent SPF however, the tiny shade range is abysmal. The few that were even close to my skin tone were greyish-taupe. I looked dead. :-( Agree about the essential oils too.

I wanted to like this BB cream! I bought a couple on sale from yesstyle last winter when they tend to go on sale but it honestly didn't work for me. I'm 65 which means I have a lot more lines and wrinkles than you Gemma :) and this cream would settle right into them making me look 10 years older. Even my husband asked me, "Are you okay? You look so tired today." He never makes comments like that. I don't know what's in it that would cause this - I tried it several times but IT CC cream did the same thing! I've returned to my normal SPF with a light brushing of bronze cream and blush on top and it works perfectly ;)

I purchased shades 21 and 23. I mix them for a good shade. I noticed on the bottle it says you do not need a separate SPF. Glad you mentioned that because i did not use a separate SPF. I also noticed the fragrance. It was pretty loud at first. I started to get a headache but thankfully it went away. I am noticing a few little spots of irritation on my face which i am guessing is from the essential oils. It’s not bad and hopefully will go away because I absolutely loved the way this looks on my skin. Very pretty! I have oily skin and did have to powder and also touch up a couple times during the day. It is very dewy on me. I was very shocked it did not settle into my lines.

So many influencers love this product, but I have waited for the "Gemma" review before trying it. I also have concerns about finding a shade match for me. I normally buy the lightest shade in foundations, as long as it is warm or neutral. I was afraid the shade 13 would be too light. Has anyone tried this shade? I am no. 23, looks slightly greyish when pumped out but corrects beautifully with my skin tone when applied so don’t despair! I use my fingers to spread, found it’s the best application, some comments below agree. Tiny dots and pat push upwards and outwards, works a treat. I use it over Korean 50++++ spf Prem or Biove. Asbsolutely fab spf’s. V light dusting of HG Dim Light on my 54yo dry face and it looks equally as good if not better than my high end brands! If you aren’t irritated by ingredients like Gemma then What are you waiting for?

I'm afraid this one, with those scented ingredients, would not agree with my skin. Something in the It Cosmetics CC+ makes my skin itchy and dry. I'm afraid this would as well. What I am loving ATM is the Loreal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation. As an older gal, this has worked perfectly for me and I love it.

Hi Gemma I wear this (despite not being able to use fragranced skincare as I have rosacea and eczema). but I wear a primer under it. I normally use the Laura Gellor primer (which is aloe based) and it gives a little bit more pore refinement and stops my dry skin eating the bb cream. That layer of primer seems to protect me from the irritation of the fragrance. This is the case for many foundations/bb creams etc and that's why I always wear primer. I know a lot of people don't need or like primer, but I do and I find it's gives me another layer of occlusion between my skin and makeup (on top of my already excellent layered skincare regime). I have shade #13 and have to mix it with a white mixer as I'm so pale. It is very cool toned, which is good for me as I have a very pink undertone. I'm glad you like it too. Best wishes.

I purchased this Missha BB cream and had to return it. The smell of it was so horrible I had to immediately wash it off after having it on only ten minutes. Maybe the scent wouldn’t bother everybody but I really did not enjoy it. But before I did wash it off I noticed it was very milky looking on the skin, so very visible. I feel there are many BB creams and tinted moisturizers that are far better.

I knew if I searched Missha BB Cream I would find you Gemma. ☺️
I just purchased this product for $9.99, in #13 and it's perfection!!
I wore it today at work and it's worked better than Lancome stick foundation $43.00, L'Oreal Tinted Serum foundation $19.99, and Bare Minerals Original Mineral (powder) foundation $39.00.
I Am Shocked! I have tried IT cosmetics BB and promptly returned it. Tried Tarte, kind of liked it. Just never got that shiny, greasy look of those products. Until Missha. I have been using Missha Time Revolution Essences for years but never tried this BB. I am almost speechless about it. It's really opened my eyes to some hard hitting truth out there.
*I have been contemplating that Cle de Peau foundation ever since you introduced it, but the $130.00 price tag had me fretting. I am 56 years old, and having trouble with getting my skin hydrated. It seems no matter what I use I cannot get my face to remain moisturized. Even after a night long treatment, it's washed away in the morning and then I am parched again. Especially my under eyes. 😭 My eyes are super sensitive to scents in products and they don't exactly love this Missha scent, but I can try and keep it further away the next time I apply but I am still on the fence about what concealer to buy. The Lancome Teint Idole? Pat McGrath? Kosas? I need something emollient but not greasy or too shiny. I need something with coverage but not thick, drying, or cakey. It's quite the dilemma. Wish I could find my holy grail concealer without spending senseless money in the search.
Anywho: Thanks for reviewing. I am glad you like this product as well.
Did your mom ever try this? What did she think of it?
Is it comparable to The Futurist by Estee Lauder?
ps) I used my fingers to apply. (so far)
    Will try a sponge tomorrow.

I'm actually using WetnWild tinted hydrator as my concealer. Can't find anything that doesn't crease or bother my eyes and is hydrating enough (I think it's the glycerin that works). I am like you (but a tiny but oily in T-zone so it makes it even harder). I think I will try this BB Cream.

I bought shade 25 as I'm medium light neutral warm (I think! ). It looked a little bit orange out of the he pump but is actually a really good match. I've also used it under my eyes as I'm out of concealer just now. I apply with a brush and use a tiny bit of powder to set it. The wear is pretty good, and I put moisturizer on first too as I'm so dry atm. I do find it feels slightly irritating after a whole day, but no more so than many other foundations. All in all I really like it - thanks for the review that persuaded me to try it 😁

  • @samantarizzi248
    @samantarizzi248 ปีที่แล้ว

I love the way the IT cosmetics CC cream looks on my skin. But hate the way it feels! My skin is dry and sensitive, so I’m having such a hard time choosing the right foundation for me. I love the Double Wear by Estée Lauder and YSL Touché Eclat because they are both fragrance free, but the double wear gives me a mask effect, which I don’t like, it’s so high coverage and matte.. on the other hand Touché Eclat can be a bit too dewy sometimes after a long day of work. Although it’s still my number one, at the moment. I really enjoy Light Wonder by Charlotte tilbury, when my skin is in great shape.
Honestly, I haven’t found my holy grail foundation yet that will do everything that I want for me. I need a foundation for dry skin, fragrance free, essential oil free, that doesn’t look dewy but looks velvety, like healthy skin, stays on for hours and is comfortable on the skin. 😄
