3:00 Bedrock won't let you add, delete or replace block over a certain amount. Idk, it will warn you and tell you the exact number if you try it on bedrock tho. I think the number is 2^15 because I remember it being at 30 thousands and 2^15 is about 32k. That is probably why editor doesn't let you input numbers too high and doesn't delete them when the volume was too big.
That'll be the number equal to 32x32x32. The original game (java edition) had the same limitation for in-game commands but it was eventually upped to 48x48x48. btw that was the poor man's MC Edit. WorldEdit adds 1 core feature: it's in-game instead of editing your world inside a 3rd party program with time frozen. So you're much more limited by processing power with WorldEdit because the game still has to process time and all the normal in-game changes that time progressing causes while also trying to process your editor changes. The max area you can affect without crashing is much much smaller. No editing 10000x10000 areas and just waiting 18 minutes for it to finish like MC Edit could do (on low end hardware to boot). With WorldEdit the entire game would freeze for everyone if you made anything more than a tiny change, and if it took more than a minute the game would crash. Also in 1.8 they added the core features of MC Edit and WorldEdit to the vanilla commands (with the commands fill, fill with replace, and clone). Less reason to use the mod when vanilla can do the same thing, although WorldEdit had some more advanced features like brushes and formulas so some people would still use it.

Java edition literally runs terribly compared to bedrock even with a way smaller render distance. You can literally see in this video how much longer it took Java to render when he loaded the world. You have to install like three different performance mods to make it playable. And C++ is literally one of the fastest languages.

5:50 the water blocks are repeating because you copied the empty hole you created and pasted it many times, and that hole had water sources which also were pasted in
Not water SOURCES, waterfalls coming out of the areas 1 block outside of the cut area. Technically they should be erasing themselves since they now have no source block to flow from, but I guess being part of a pasted area makes them not update in real time?
One of the reasons Editor runs slowly is that the whole thing is written in Javascript, and runs in QuickJS interpreter (meaning resource-efficient, not fast-running).
@slicepie410 If that was the case th base game would lag like hell too. I haven't goofed around with fill commands all that much but I don't recall them being this janky.
I feel like Mojang is sneakly trimming the corners around Java to make Bedrock the NEW THING... and all of a sudden they won't update Java anymore, it's a scary future friends.

Would 100×100×100 go over the 8 bit limit?
Cubic blocks? String theory in Minecraft !!
3:25 I may be wrong since the area looks quite large but on Java if you try to fill an area with more than 32k blocks it limits what you can do. Maybe bedrock has that limit too (maybe slightly larger, for specifically this tool?).
6:25 who would expect that gamme that has been writen in java which is amazing for optimisation is better than in something like c++. but for real I sometimes wonder how and why Bedrock has such shity optimisation and so many inconsistencies... If they want people to migrate onto Bedrock than they know what needs to be done and yet they are putting more stuff in marketplace or on realms... (who even uses these) or they just take away stuff helpfull/needed for making mods IN GAME THAT HAS SUCCESS THANKS TO THAT(partialy)
my brother java literally runs in a vm what are you talking about
@madbanana22 not brother and read again -> "but for real"
@@madbanana22...It's not that simple.
You can't just say "a VM."
If I write and then boot up a VM on fricking Sunway TaihuLight and then on my Dell Optiplex built in '97, one of them won't run Java ever. I'll let you guess.
@@JonahDyer both can run java given you have a port of jvm for them
Java edition literally runs terribly compared to bedrock even with a way smaller render distance. You can literally see in this video how much longer it took Java to render when he loaded the world. You have to install like three different performance mods to make it playable. And C++ is literally one of the fastest languages.
this might be the hammer world editor
0:41 What was that Observer
0:39 what the hell is that resource pack? Why does the observer look like that lmao
I need it
Literally just axiom but worse
What do you expect from bedrock
it's made for kids to be able to use bud
@@Minty7602 Yeah, it also just takes a time to make a level/world editor/maker
Read the “beta” title again buddy
Bro its literally in beta
3:59 Your honor, in my client's defense, he did a bad thing, but he didn't mean to.
it’s just a beta guys holy shit calm down
this has been available for like a year (it was just kinda hard to access you had to like make a special shortcut on your desktop to get it to boot)
This rlly tryna be like Roblox Studio Bruh😭😭🙏
babe wake up axiom added bedrock support
Honestly, i didn't know it existed until you mentioned it
0:31 so guys we did it
1:22 jerryterry jumpscare
what?
@ the song in the background is “No one’s around to help.” by JerryTerry. I was surprised to hear one of his songs in this video since I mostly know him for his horror series.
Then this, then that, then this
Crappy version of world edit or axiom is the vibe I'm getting
i timed myself on java and it took me about 2 min to replicate this with world edit xdd
Ok
Hey Minecrafts best Redstoner! :D
0:46 osc in Phoenix SC????
If you want an empty world just make a flat world with all layers as air
🤓👆 erm actually, the bedrock editor has been around for a while, just Mojang hasn't been very public about except a article on how to install it
Underrated comment
One of the reasons Editor runs slowly is that the whole thing is written in Javascript, and runs in QuickJS interpreter (meaning resource-efficient, not fast-running).
The game runs in a separate thread (that is written in c++). Isn't the lag purely because of the amount of block updates?
@slicepie410 If that was the case th base game would lag like hell too. I haven't goofed around with fill commands all that much but I don't recall them being this janky.
@@cherboka4856 They have a much smaller limit (48x48x48 currently, but 32x32x32 for the first few years fill commands existed).
I feel like Mojang is sneakly trimming the corners around Java to make Bedrock the NEW THING... and all of a sudden they won't update Java anymore, it's a scary future friends.
HAMMER++ IN MINECRAFT!?!?!?
0:29 not to rain on the parade, but it's rounding up. you can see the actual number on the old reddit view, which as of right now is at 249,657. but who cares, it's basically a quarter million, and it's only a matter of time anyway. very exciting to see how much this community has grown!
Dude found out about a BETA and decided to immediately push it to its limits and expected it not to break
It's actually been out since 1.20 lol
I've used it too XD
Surprising water is updating - every other cave in bedrock seems to have some glitched water or lava. Like I often see water with big square sections of air inside, or lava flowing down into a single block and stopping on top with no spread.
My favourite part is at 03:50 and that cursed sound lol 😂
thats just dialup (old internet]
Great now i feel old
Ok, thank you for your valuable input on the favorite part of "3:50"
Oh the newgen aura 😭😭💀
"that sound"
This might be a random idea, but I’d love to see a video of you messing around with MCEdit or Axiom like you did here. Doesn’t have to be anything crazy, just a bit of casual fun like this was
