Everyone has to be alive to get this ending because if he sees any of his friends bodies hanging his guilt is to much and he gets karma for intentionally killing his friends so he still becomes a wendigo.
Wouldn’t he have had to eaten the flesh of the dead to become a Wendigo? That’s the part I never got with that ending. Although the whole thing is weird anyway. Kissing someone could see you consuming some of their dna in the process, so who knows how it determines what counts for turning into a Wendigo.
@@mandrews6282 Yes but at the beginning, the wendigo spirit will hunt your soul and try to get in your head. It will try to make you feel horrible, guilty, etc... Then you will become hungry and it will influence you to eat human flesh if there is.
There seems to be more to it than that. I get to this point, and choose "they hurt me", but "i'm so sorry" isn't given as an option. Clearly something else decides whether or not you can choose it. But no one seems to know what that is.
Emily will join her since she also was canonically bitten first! But later Mike Chris, Matt, Ashley and Jess might ask for a bite from emily or Sam to get those abilities as well just to survive and defeat every last 1 of those wendigos and put an end to the wendigo curse once and for all! Damn i cant wait for the action packed sequel & cinematic trailers and fight scenes! That sounds like the perfect setup for an action-packed, high-stakes sequel! Emily joining Sam as another superhuman fighter makes sense, especially with her being bitten first. Their dynamic could evolve from surviving together to leading a full-on resistance against the Wendigos. The idea of Mike, Chris, Matt, Ashley, and Jess seeking out a bite to gain powers is really cool too-it adds an interesting layer of choice and desperation. They would be forced to decide if the risks of gaining these abilities (like potential psychological or physical consequences) are worth it. This could lead to some tense moments where they have to trust each other despite their new, dangerous powers. The squad could become an elite team of Wendigo hunters, each with their own unique abilities and fighting styles. Imagine the cinematic fight scenes-choreographed battles where Sam and Emily tear through Wendigos with claws, insane speed, and agility, while Mike uses his strategic mind, Jess has her sharp shooting skills enhanced, and Chris becomes the unstoppable brawler. All of them working together to destroy the Wendigos and end the curse once and for all. The trailer would be pure adrenaline: dramatic music, slow-motion shots of them using their new powers, and intense fight sequences in eerie, snow-covered forests. This could be the Until Dawn sequel we've all been waiting for. Do you think there would be a final boss or a new type of Wendigo they'd face at the end?
@muhammadsalafiahlulhadith What kind of nonsense are you on about, that isn't even how the curse works in the slightest there's literally a whole scene in the game showing bites do nothing.
I managed to save him first try, it was my only goal, because I was always mad that his "good" ending is becoming a Wendigo in the original. I didn't look up spoilers, I just played it and hoped they added a new way to save him. I never attacked Josh. As Chris, I said would Save Josh but didn't touch the lever. As Chris, I told Josh he deserved this and was a coward, I disarmed Mike when he was aiming the gun at Josh. I found Hannah's journal. As Josh to the therapist, I chose, "They hurt me, too." And then, "I'm sorry." Everyone was alive by the end of my playthrough, too.
Hmm, that's interesting, as Chris I chose to save Ashley and I also had Ashley stab Josh with the scissor and still got the "I'm so sorry" from Josh. Thanks for the info, now we know that that those choices isn't necessarily required to get the "good" Josh ending. It is feeling more and more like the most important thing is what you choose during each of the Dr. Hill sessions.
I did everything exactly the same but didn't get the "I'm sorry option." Maybe it also has something to do with the choices in the therapy sessions with Dr. Hill.
Thanks for this! Gonna try to get Josh's ending because I don't want him to turn into a wendigo 😭 Also glad your police interview gameplay has Emily and Matt care for each other. They're the couple whose relationship I want to save most!
i think i know how to get the josh ending: so if u choose "they hurt me" dr hill would say that it wasnt true. so if u before this, attack josh with scissors as ashley, hit him with the bat as chris. then josh would not believe it making him feel not remorseful. but if u dont attack josh with scissors as ash, or bat with chris, then select "they hurt me" and dr hill says they didnt, then josh would realize and be aware that dr hill is right then the " im so sorry" option def pop up as it make sense for him to listen to his fake therapist in the head and change his mind about his friend as he becomes remorseful.
it makes sense that having his friends attack him could possibly cause him to think more about his actions.. i'll test out to see whether or not having him punch Ashley and then having Chris hit Josh with the bat is what you need to do in order to get the "I'm so sorry" to appear.
@@ChengTeohit worked with me Where I replayed with episode menu and started at 6 where original I stabbed Josh and hit him with the bat but when I replayed I didn’t use the scissors or hit him with the bat, then I got the “I’m so sorry “ option appear
Pretty sure you also need everyone to be alive in order for Josh to get the best ending cutscene? I did that on my playthrough but killed everyone else to be faster, but that ending didn't pop-up after the credits.
can confirm ... you can't have anyone die in order to trigger this. I got the "i'm so sorry" option & had Jess & Chris dead only to have Josh end up becoming a Wendigo even though he was remorseful.
@@ChengTeoh yes because I'm pretty sure having Josh see the hanging bodies of his friends in the cave breaks the condition for him to get his redemption. I think the sequel is going to be sam and josh, otherwise it wouldn't make sense for them to add this new ending. What follows is josh's redemption journey as sam searches for the truth of the mark
@@Eddie-uf3jbOk this would be interesting when you put it that way. I’d like to also think that Mike would be in the picture as well, since he was involved with all the stuff the most on the first game. Edit: Supporting characters could be Chris and/or Ashley where they would communicate through maybe a radio for intel and emergency purposes. That or Ashley handles that, while Chris is the provider for their gear that would help on the journey. - Emily, and Jess feels very unlikely to be actively involved on the sequel. Jess because of the amount of trauma in the 1st game. Emily because she knows it could be another death sentence for her, so she’ll back out. - For Matt? I’m personally clueless on how they’ll be able to feature him as one of the main characters. He could be someone who would be their unofficial mental coach, but I feel like that’s the case for Chris to Josh (they were best friends), and Mike to Jess (that partners-in-crime chemistry).
it is important to find the sisters clues, josh will remember hannah seeing her tattoo, the dialogue itself doesnt impact it, if you dont find the clues, the wendigo(hannah) will kill josh
I knew this ending existed, but I wasn't sure how to get it. I just so happened to follow the instructions at the start of the video on my first playthrough, but Josh turned into a wendigo. I originally thought they replaced that ending with this one you have shown in the video, but perhaps this ending only happens if everyone else lives, because in my playthrough, Chirs died to Hannah after I failed the second aiming quick time event that comes after Jack dies, and Sam died after I failed the second "DON'T MOVE" event.
Luckily the remake has epidode selection after you finish the game. So you may be able to go back and change those events without having to start a new playthrough if you choose. I had heard you needed to find all clues to get it. I only got 90 percent, but everyone lived so that may be why I got it. You at least need the choice and finding the diary noted in this vid as well.
@@yuppersmeer6080 i mean if any characters alive they go to the mines. Everyone needs to be alive because if anyone dies (Not Jack, obviously.) Josh is racked with guilt and succumbs to the curse.
That’s pretty interesting that Wendigo Hannah’s expression looks a bit sad for a second at 10:09 Normally all of the Wendigos have angry/crazed expressions on their faces but this is the first time I’ve seen one of them emote something else (makes sense it’d be Hannah after Josh recognizes her out loud)
@@ChengTeoh I didn't get that option either, it said "they need to change" instead, although I wonder if it's a translation thing. InMyFaceAndLovingIt were you playing in english? also no, none of my characters died. ChengTeoh, did you hit Josh with Chris and Mike? I didn't
@cereal, I don't think it's a translation issue ... on my first run through of the game I also got the "They need to change" & "It was just a game" after saying "They hurt me" ... hmm. the only different choices I made from one game to the next was to have Chris punch Josh because he punch Ashley, then tell him to "dismiss - shut up", "angry - we can't trust you", "aggressive - you need to shut up", and then end with Chris hitting Josh with the wood.
tried with those exact same choices for the punch and still didn't get the "i'm so sorry" maybe i shouldn't stab josh with the scissors as Ashley? or maybe me not finding the documents showing Josh was mentally ill with Sam has something to do with it? really annoying :/
I don’t know exactly how to feel about the new remake vs original, but the one think that the remake blew out of the water were the degins of the wendiogs. My lord they look 10x more haunting than the first game
I watched two playthrough of Until Dawn Remake, one from Jev & one from Pineapple Express and I noticed that in Jev's playthrough Dr. Hill gets bloodied up in the last few sessions and shows signs that suggests that he's turning into a wendigo and in the ending Josh turns into a wendigo just like the original one. But in Pineapple Express's playthrough Dr. Hill stays fine and he gets the new Josh ending. So from this, I'm guessing that the biggest hint or giveaway if Josh will turn into a wendigo or not is if Dr. Hill gets bloodied up.
People spacing over the fact that when you kill a wendigo it releases the curse to find another host. Sam has unfortunately got the curse of the wendigo now
I reach those dialogue choices, all they give me after i say "they hurt me" is "they need to change" or "it was just a game". They give me no option for josh to show remorse. Clearly something else affects whether or not you get the "I'm so sorry" option. And no, I'm not the only one. So no, its not that simple. Everyone is still alive, no animals died, so idk what went wrong. No one seems to have a clear answer.
@@ishraaroni9206 I did eventually get the ending, but I can't say with any certainty which choices did or didn't affect it. I'm sorry, I wish I had a better answer.
According to others comments it depends on the other's characters actions toward Josh, for example you must not stab him as Ashley, not hit him as Chris and not let Mike hit him or something. The dialogue choices too may play a role, when I played the game on PS4 I knew Josh was innocent so I made sure to chose all the option dialogues with Chris beleiving that something other than Josh may have attacked Jessica, and I got the answer choice "I'm sorry" from Josh in the game. But I remember something else that I did which may have helped me get the "I'm sorry" from Josh, and someone pointed out this solution in the comments, when Chris must chose between saving Josh and saving Ashley, you must chose Josh, apparently as long as Chris cose to sacrifice himself later for Ashley she won't leave him to die. As for me at first I chose to save Josh because, but when I was to have Chris pull the lever, I waited, and the saw automatically started to go toward Josh even without Chris pulling the lever, thus I managed to maintain a good relationship level with both Josh and Ashley between them and Chris 😎
I can say I am, (and not) surprised that the Horror and terror Sam experienced that night on the mountain with her friends against supernatural cannibalistic Wendigos. Would catch the Entity's interest, and it seems to have deemed her a suitable candidate for its "game"
@sammies2004 Wendigos are evil spirits who possess humans and drive them to cannibalism. I fail to understand how the way they are depicted here in Until Dawn would invoke “cultural sensitivity” since they are literal monsters. Anyway feel free to site your sources or I’m just going to assume you are spreading misinformation.
@@Shlongthorpe Hi. Im a very big until dawn and dbd fan and a collab would be like a dream come true. But isnt an until dawn 2 confirmed tho? I think that it has nothing to do with the entity but its just a hint to a sequel (i hope not, a sequel is not needed in my opinion)

I did all of this!! But he still turned into a wendigo. Is it because two characters died in my playthrough? Unfortunately, I tried saving Emily and had Matt killed. Then I got Emily killed as revenge. Idk, I'll replay it anyway lol. Do you think that could've been a reason?? Update: I did it! Collected absolutely everything, and got the best ending for Josh!! I was SO excited!! :D Big thanks to @HarryNinetyFour for the amazing videos showing us how to get everything. Agh!! So awesome!!
i'm not 100% certain now. i did this while keeping everyone alive and friendly with each other. the only animosity was between Chris and Josh after the Saw inspired trap. had Chris say "shut up", "we can't trust you" & "you need to shut up" after he punched Josh for punching Ashley. then finally had Chris hit Josh with the wood. i also had Sam be captured by Josh and picked up all the Twin collectibles. it could be that one of these things contributed to Josh being remorseful and being able to say "i'm so sorry".
@@ChengTeoh I kept it light with Josh. He was mentally ill and off his meds, grieving his sisters. He was still remorseful in the end, so I'm confused about what could've caused the wendigo ending. No WAY am I gonna treat Josh that badly - especially because I think the whole crew actually deserved it. It only went badly because of the wendigos - but other than that, if the wendigos didn't exist, they all would've just probably left the cabin and cut contact with Josh. He was blamed for things he didn't do and was punished way too severely. Also, I may be biased because it's Rami Malek.. T^T
@@robopnkwell everyone hates emily i think so its instictual to have her get killed😅 I wonder if rami malek re shot some new scenes or this was stock footage.
@robopnk yeah i sympathize with Josh too. He’s clearly a mentally ill man struggling with severe psychosis and depression. I understand his resentment of what his friends did to Hannah, that was just cruel. I wonder why he decided to punish Jess and Chris too, although they werent involved at all. Maybe his psychosis clouded his judgement and made him think all of them were guilty? Who knows?
Just finished my first play through and got this ending and I couldn’t tell y’all how I did it because I see confusion in the comments didn’t even know this was a ending
the ending was sam being taken to dbd lmao no but fr if dbd x until dawn happens im ready for the skins: sam (being added) mike (being added) wendigo (being added / hag's skin) emily (yun jin lee's skin) ashley (kate's skin) dr. hill (ace's skin) do note that i paired the characters by facial similarity
This guide is definitely not accurate. It's not even possible to say "I am so sorry" unless some other specific things are done much earlier in the game. And yes, I did have everyone alive at this point. I think some of the choices during the previous Dr. Hill sessions matter.
A LOT of choices matter. Apparently as Chris you must chose to save Josh instead of Ashley (and made sure for Chris to chose to sacrifice himself to save Ashley later in order for her to not let him to die, since everyone must be alive for that secret ending, but to make sure just don't pull the saw lever after chosing to save Josh, the saw will still automatically "kill" Josh if you wait long enough, and Ashley may not know that Chris intended to save him instead of her) then as Ashley you must not stab Josh with the scisors, and as Chris and Mike you must not chose verbal and physical violence against Josh. I think that's all the choices help making Josh feel more remosrfull for harming his friends
2 additional stipulations. It cant be achieved on a replay of a chapter it has to be a fresh game and you have to make sure you save everyone thus far in the game
I had a feeling they wouldn't give Josh an actual new dialogue. 🙃😂 This way they didn't have to pay Rami to do additional lines for this outcome. Wow. Of course. With the Silent Hill 2 remake being the success that it is right now, all I can think of is how I'm sure that's what the developers thought this remake would be, but instead it ending up being the Silent Hill HD Collection 😭😂
Well, remember, Rami is a very busy actor, so even if he wanted to, they can't just fly him out from wherever he is now to California to record new lines. He's probably unaware that the remake got released or greenlit to begin with. But that's probably just me overthinking things.
In my playthrough, as Josh I showed remorse for his actions, and as Sam I found the scrawled journal and learned about the sisters' fate which was communicated to Josh. This should have been the way to save Josh from his apparent worse than death fate, but he succumbed to that anyway in the end. Maybe because I let Matt get killed since I did not pick up the goddamn flare gun.
theres no "im so sorry option for me and ive scoured the comments but nothing seems to matter. everyone lives in my playthrough, ive said josh dislikes himself the most in dr hill sections, ive gotten the hanmah tattoo clues you name it, but it just said something else in the place of "im so sorry" so now he isnt remorseful, stupid they dont make it clear what i did wrong exactly
I see a lot of people saying they followed these steps but are unable to get the ending anyway. While I haven't played the remake yet myself, I don't see anyone mentioning the scene where you have to choose between Ashley and Josh when you play as Chris. Most playthroughs I have watched always choose to save Ashley. Maybe you should pick Josh to live instead, because I'm pretty sure he mentions your choice when Mike and Chris escort him to the shed, so the game definitely remembers the choice. If you feel bad about letting Ashley die in the first trap, then remember you can always choose to sacrifice yourself for her later.
Oh I remember that one ! Instead of either chosing Ashley or Josh, at first I selected to save Josh at first, but I didn't let Chris pull out the lever since I new it was automatically trafficked to head towards Josh, and I didn't want Ashley to remember Chris pulling the lever toward her and letting him to die from the claws of the wendigo. I did my best to make the max of choices to increase the affinity between the characters, I therefore made the choices I beleive was important for Chris and Josh to remain close but without compromising Chris and Ashley's relationship. I played the PS4 game so this secret ending wasn't on it but I got the "I'm sorry" answer choice from Josh that is essential to get this enw secret ending on the PS5 version.
Is there any prerequisites for this path because literally I don’t have the “I’m so sorry” all I have is “they need to change” and “it was just a game”.

I have just completed my first playthrough. Kept everyone alive, but messed up the Josh one (now i know tho :) ).. I wander, would you still get this ending if Sam didn't survive?
I missed the scissors on chapter 6 with Ashely so Josh slaps Ashley and then got the « I’m so sorry » but do I have to restart everything from chapter 6 to chapter 10 or I can just get the scene in chap 6 and go back to chapter 9 for the I’m so sorry ?
i've tested it and it doesn't seem that Josh being hit by Chris with the bat is necessary to get the "i'm so sorry". at the moment i'm leaning towards Ashley being hit by Josh as the thing that is required since I've also tested Ashley not stabbing Josh and that didn't get the "i'm so sorry" option to pop up.

I dont understand this josh ending, its more like its the time between before he turns into a wendigo. It looks like he didnt actually get saved at all and it was already too late, because he's all alone in the cave all by himself. in the original we could see him already turning into a half wendigo and by the time a rescuer comes to save him, it was already too late. so maybe this was a pov from his side, that he's still in the progress of turning into one. In the original, you need everyone alive to be able to get the josh ending turning into a wendigo. This sounds much like an extra scene

They're the couple whose relationship I want to save most!
lol you wanted to save Matt and Emily’s relationship? That relationship was horrible.
@ i’m just an optimistic player who wants to save everyone and get a happy ending
Such a sympathetic, sad character
i think i know how to get the josh ending: so if u choose "they hurt me" dr hill would say that it wasnt true. so if u before this, attack josh with scissors as ashley, hit him with the bat as chris. then josh would not believe it making him feel not remorseful. but if u dont attack josh with scissors as ash, or bat with chris, then select "they hurt me" and dr hill says they didnt, then josh would realize and be aware that dr hill is right then the " im so sorry" option def pop up as it make sense for him to listen to his fake therapist in the head and change his mind about his friend as he becomes remorseful.
it makes sense that having his friends attack him could possibly cause him to think more about his actions.. i'll test out to see whether or not having him punch Ashley and then having Chris hit Josh with the bat is what you need to do in order to get the "I'm so sorry" to appear.
@@ChengTeohit worked with me Where I replayed with episode menu and started at 6 where original I stabbed Josh and hit him with the bat but when I replayed I didn’t use the scissors or hit him with the bat, then I got the “I’m so sorry “ option appear
@@ChengTeohI tested it, I did not stab Josh or hit him with the bat as Chris, I got the "I'm so sorry" option. So it might play a part in it.
Omg tysm I've been struggling with this
That’s exactly it
Pretty sure you also need everyone to be alive in order for Josh to get the best ending cutscene? I did that on my playthrough but killed everyone else to be faster, but that ending didn't pop-up after the credits.
At least 1 person must be alive to tell the police to go down the mines yeo
can confirm ... you can't have anyone die in order to trigger this.
I'm also pretty sure that he needs to be hit at least once by his friends (either Sam throwing a vase/knocking him with the baseball bat or Ashley with the scissors). I'll make a follow-up once I 100% found the conditions.
@@ChengTeohI killed everyone but Sam thinking he would feel remorse cuz his friends died cuz of him. If not killing them triggers it I'm confused how he would even feel bad if no one died

Saving Mr Robot

I think only the "I'm so sorry" matters.
Until dawn save Josh
Session 1
“I feel uneasy”, “The scarecrow”, “No, I wouldn’t”, “I’d be lonely”
Session 2 “Women worry me” “ planes scare me” “I fear heights” “Snakes scare me” “Guns are scary” “I fear scarecrows” “Gore disgusts me” “Spiders are creepy” “Gore disgusts me” “Scarecrows scare me” “Gore disgusts me” “Gore disgusts me”
In chapter 2 as Chris there is a few things to choose.
Pick “you doing alright?” Pick “yeah absolutely” Pick “maybe you’re right” When you’re in the house pick up some twin clues as well.
When you take control as Sam there are a few things to choose as well when speaking to Josh.
Pick “they are sweet together” Pick “we’re here for you” When you take control as Sam again and Josh is working on the breaker walk to your right and pick up the bat and choose “baseball in the snow?” (High five him too after you successfully turn the breaker on) Pick “I wasn’t scared” Pick “you were freaked out too” Pick “we should check it out”
Back with Dr Hill choose these things
Session 3
“Yes I do” “I value loyalty” “ I value loyalty”
Playing ouijji with Josh choose these Pick “is anyone there” Pick “what do you mean” Pick “Hannah” Pick “we’re so sorry” Pick “how did you die”
Back with Dr Hill again choose these
Session 4 “I prefer Sam” “I prefer Matt” “I prefer Chris” “I prefer Mike” “I prefer Josh” “I prefer Ashley” “I dislike Emily”
After attempting to save Jessica, and a game with Psycho (choose to save Ashley) you’re back with Dr hill
Session 5
Pick “no it’s not” “Who are you?” “You’re freaking me out” “You don’t exist”
During chapter 5. As Sam let psycho capture you.
During chapter 6 as Ashley after you finish the dollhouse section. Walk into the unlocked door look immediately to your right to find a camera. Then turn it off. Find the blue book to your left, and take the scissors with you. Find more clues about the mystery men as well.
(During chapter 6) As Ashley make sure you choose the sympathetic options when it comes to Hannah.
When you’re presented with the choice to follow Chris or investigate movement choose “investigate” when the psycho attacks you two, and you have the opportunity to stab him DONT DO IT. Attacking him will make him not feel remorseful. When both Chris and Ashley are tied up, and you have to shoot someone. Don’t do anything at all just let the time run out.
During chapter 7 as Chris choose the options
Pick “you deserve this” Pick “something feels wrong” Pick “you’re the coward” When the option to disarm Mike or hit Josh. Just don’t do anything as well.
If you did everything correct up to this point, and collected some mystery man and twins clues along the way you should have the “I’m so sorry option”
Session 5 “They hurt me” “I’m so sorry”
During chapter 10 make sure when you first go in the water as Sam walk all the way left to find Hannah’s journal!

Dislike Emily haha, still classic choice after years
Thank you SO MUCH for your comment, it works to get the "I'm so sorry" !!
This worked for me also, thank you so much!!! 👍✌️
Collectibles are not needed, only Hannah's diary. Also Chris can be agressive and can hit Josh at the shed. Everyone needs to be alive and right choices need to be picked at sessions with Dr. John Abruzzi.
@@MrPiter48 thank you brother. The big one was the choices in the sessions for me and being supportive and sympathetic towards Josh throughout the play through. Last up until platinum is the 10 new intractables which I hear you have to get in a single play through and cannot piece meal in chapter select
So the rumored about a sequal in the works seems more plausible after seeing the ending
Most likely setting up for one in the future
Should also bring back Emily, best character
it is important to find the sisters clues, josh will remember hannah seeing her tattoo, the dialogue itself doesnt impact it, if you dont find the clues, the wendigo(hannah) will kill josh
Sam definitely needs to be alive to tell the investigators to go to the mines asap, but I wonder if you need the others to be alive too
Luckily the remake has epidode selection after you finish the game. So you may be able to go back and change those events without having to start a new playthrough if you choose.
I had heard you needed to find all clues to get it. I only got 90 percent, but everyone lived so that may be why I got it. You at least need the choice and finding the diary noted in this vid as well.
@@mandrews6282 I found the diary, but Josh still turned into a wendigo.
@@yuppersmeer6080 i mean if any characters alive they go to the mines. Everyone needs to be alive because if anyone dies (Not Jack, obviously.) Josh is racked with guilt and succumbs to the curse.
They deadass went and gave Matt the Broccoli haircut specifically because nobody asked for it
I would like Matt so much better with a taper fade or waves, the broccoli haircut aint itttt
You think they'd point out that the first few therapy sessions ACTUALLY matter in this version of the game to get the new ending.
That’s pretty interesting that Wendigo Hannah’s expression looks a bit sad for a second at 10:09
Normally all of the Wendigos have angry/crazed expressions on their faces but this is the first time I’ve seen one of them emote something else (makes sense it’d be Hannah after Josh recognizes her out loud)
I'm glad they gave Josh a new ending
I didn't get the "I'm so sorry" response, just "They need to change" and "It was just a game". Did I mess up an earlier interaction?
did you by any chance have a character die?
@@ChengTeoh ah that's great to know! and I imagined it had something to do with the punch, I'll try that!
tried with those exact same choices for the punch and still didn't get the "i'm so sorry"
maybe i shouldn't stab josh with the scissors as Ashley? or maybe me not finding the documents showing Josh was mentally ill with Sam has something to do with it? really annoying :/
I did all of these in my first playthrough of the remake and Josh still turned into a wendigo
did you have anyone die?
I believe this is because If you say earlier that you're afraid of zombies as Josh, Dr. Hill starts to get bloodied up at the end
everyones alive but i didnt even get the therapy scene
Yes!! This is amazing! Josh is well and not eating that snack.
Omg bro thanks you a real one

@ChengTeoh ok but how do I get the "I'm so sorry" choice instead of "they need to change"
I never knew the "patient" was Josh.... What a mind boggling night...

@@mistydolphin2524 haha fair enough glad u figured it ouy

Would catch the Entity's interest, and it seems to have deemed her a suitable candidate for its "game"
the creators have said they wouldn't add a wendigo as a killer due to cultural sensitivity
@sammies2004 ah ok did not know that thank you.
@@sammies2004when did they say that cause I can’t find anything?
@sammies2004 Wendigos are evil spirits who possess humans and drive them to cannibalism. I fail to understand how the way they are depicted here in Until Dawn would invoke “cultural sensitivity” since they are literal monsters. Anyway feel free to site your sources or I’m just going to assume you are spreading misinformation.
All the UI except the butterly effect page is so much better
After I clicked “they hurt me” I could either pick “they need to change” or “it was just a game” so Josh wasn’t remorseful

But I got "They need to change" instead of "Im so sorry" ... ?
Wait a minute. They were interviewed at the police station soon after they were rescued? They didn't go to the hospital first with those injuries?
ive always thought about this, miss jessica looks like shes about to keel over like why didn't they treat their wounds first !?
I always have "they have to change" instead of "I’m so sorry", Even if Everyone is alive
@@robopnkwell everyone hates emily i think so its instictual to have her get killed😅
I wonder if rami malek re shot some new scenes or this was stock footage.
Who knows?
The "I'm so sorry" option wasn't there for me. What else has to be done?
So seemingly the only thing keeping him from being saved in my playthrough is two dialogue choices at the beginning lol. Everyone else lived

OMG WITH 2 CHOICES YOU CAN LITERALLY SAVE MY FAV CHARACTERS THATS JUST CRAZY
Yeah cuz I’m sure he’s not busy with other things, and he’s just waiting around for until dawn to call him up 🙄
In my playthrough, as Josh I showed remorse for his actions, and as Sam I found the scrawled journal and learned about the sisters' fate which was communicated to Josh. This should have been the way to save Josh from his apparent worse than death fate, but he succumbed to that anyway in the end. Maybe because I let Matt get killed since I did not pick up the goddamn flare gun.
from what i can tell you need everyone to be alive in order to have Josh "saved" from the worst fate.
theres no "im so sorry option for me and ive scoured the comments but nothing seems to matter. everyone lives in my playthrough, ive said josh dislikes himself the most in dr hill sections, ive gotten the hanmah tattoo clues you name it, but it just said something else in the place of "im so sorry" so now he isnt remorseful, stupid they dont make it clear what i did wrong exactly
Have you figured out still have no clue
I'm stuck with "They should have changed."
I choose Josh, he still became a Wendigo :c. I didn't have the "I'm so sorry" option.
Man I like how I can do theses exact same choices in the original and get the exact same result
How do you get the I’m sorry prompt it says they need to change for me
You forgot the 4 step-Save Sam
I make a mistake on matt, i didn’t ask emily to give the flare gun
So, where did the Wendigo take Josh with this ending? Was the Wendigo part just in Josh's head with this ending?
It’s Hannah and I’m guessing she didn’t kill him cuz it’s his sister or she wanted to turn him
oh ths bro I was like how do I get this

I missed the scissors on chapter 6 with Ashely so Josh slaps Ashley and then got the « I’m so sorry » but do I have to restart everything from chapter 6 to chapter 10 or I can just get the scene in chap 6 and go back to chapter 9 for the I’m so sorry ?

What would happen if "disliking" himself do to Josh's new ending?
If Chris hits Josh with the baseball does it unlock the « I’m so sorry » or it has to be Ashley getting hit by Josh in chap 6 ?
i've tested it and it doesn't seem that Josh being hit by Chris with the bat is necessary to get the "i'm so sorry". at the moment i'm leaning towards Ashley being hit by Josh as the thing that is required since I've also tested Ashley not stabbing Josh and that didn't get the "i'm so sorry" option to pop up.

But if the wendigo story line is over what will the sequel be about, i hope they dont ruin the characters or the story
it could have Sam & Josh in the Dead by Daylight universe trying to survive the suffering trials set up by the Eldritch Entity.

Anyone else having a glitch when replaying chapter 8, emily gets stuck on the mountain and you literally walk her down beneath the floor/ground xD I replayed 3x no matter how I get her out, it freezes black and if i "continue" she's in an unexplorable section of the mountain and eventually falls out beneath the mountain LOL guess I can't aim for Josh's new ending 😅
@@antoniocintron2172 do you have video of the glitch? thank goodness i haven't experienced that sort of game breaking bugs. i just got 3 crashes and several times where the character i'd control just wouldn't cooperate and i had to restart to cause him to revert back to normal mode.
i hate removed the suspenseful music at the end
Simplesmente incrível 😍
What chapter is the session with Dr Hill from as Josh?
if you are talking about the mental therapy session, they happen at the end of each story chapter.
@@ChengTeoh no the session where u have to say you’re sorry and that they hurt u
I prefer the old wendigo sound.
What was the new sound for the wendigo
This guide is full wrong and BS!!!! The Full Therapy Session most important part doesn't mention
why i couldnt save josh?
I did all this including having everyone alive and he still turned into a wedingo?
Whos saying Sam at the end?
Does the police find him?
yeah nobody's clever to save everyone as ranks
Did the sam dbd reference made by you or in game...
it's in the game... there's no way i'd do a dbd reference just for the lols.
Do you think there will be an until dawn 2 ??
probable. it'd be smart for a company to release the sequel around the time the live action movie comes out.
@@ChengTeohwhat do u think should be innovated for this kind of game genre?
i did this and didnt get the ending.......
I didn’t get this because I said it was just a game lmao😅
I don't think it's the entity.
People keep mentioning the mark being the DbD entity... I'd be extremely disappointed if they used the new ending for something that lame.
entity? dead by daylight collab?
So “the entity”?….. im getting some dead by daylight vibes…
bro the music is so much worse than the one in the original
this is a load of shit, i’ve just played through the whole game for the 5th time, just for me to not get the “im sorry” option i curse the day you were born cheng teoh .
