You should change your clutch side crank seal and maybe drop your needle one clip down that would wake that cr up just my opinion anyway, nice bike tho I love it sounds tight other than it running rich
Badass bike! I picked up a 93 CR125 about a yr ago, replaced piston and ring and now it runs just like yours, blowing white smoke, I changed the crank seals thinking it was that but wasnt and now Im wondering if the head is leaking coolant.
I know I'm a bit late to the party here, but was just wondering if way back at this time if you turned the carb air screw at all leaner or did u not realize the air screw adjustment could get alot of tht lower rpm crispness and smoke cleared up, cuz it seemed like previous owner had that screw all way in, or was it set at a acceptable # of turns already when u got it, and when u changed the crank seals, did tht cure the problem??? Man I felt bad for that brand new silencer getting choked out w all that premix madness!!! Cuz my 94 did exact same thing before I changed both of mine and w that done and a fresh batch of my 94 octane 2 stroke cocktail go juice and it instantly crisppened up sharp w barley ANY discernable smoke which is def rare for a cold start not having even 30 seconds of that billowy smoke pour out....., So just curious about what happened in the aftermath and what did u all do to get it dialed again???
Hey brother where are you located. Iv commented before asking where you got that new oem crank. I just ask because i have a 96 an found a guy with a ton of parts. He has a nice PC works expansion chamber he'd let go for a 100$. Fig id throw it out there.. That factory pipe you have is perfect tho an wish i had one. I run a full FMF on my bike and it does well for me.. I'd like to cut the silencer down but was told not to.

Dude. You have a blown head gasket. So much smoke is coming out. That's not oil. Trust me
my rm250 did that, hwoever after riding it for a day it never smoked that much.
Its the rank seal the engine suck up the tranny oil thats why its smoke so much
