I think this 2024 version is much better than the previous version in terms of memorability and instructiveness. The transitions between subjects are smoother and slower, which I think is a very important factor. Well done BA, thank you for your valuable contribution to safety culture 🙏
I loved the actual video and the making of. I am a bit surprised….are there no professional actors or are the people in uniform from BA and the others are actors? I first thought they are all actors. Well done and really a reason to be proud. It’s very entertaining and the way you show it, I understand more of the safety instructions than I usually do on a plane, although I didn’t understand everything, as English is not my native language.
What BA failed to do was using 'simple English'. I speak English fluently and even I didn't get some of the words. That's what you get for incorporating different accents than standard english, and why that usually isn't done in safety or news information.
it's a mix, I think the ones featured in the thumbnails in the end are the ones who are from BA, so the aristocratic lady is an actor but her courtiers are BA people (my guess). So "Mr. Darcy", Lady Bentley, the men on horseback, the woman in the corset, the romantic couple for example are, I think, actors, and the people around them are BA.
Brilliant video although I've not been on a flight where the vid has been shown (all flights have been on European flights where manual briefings have been done) I can imagine the smiles and laughs from the passengers.
If only they could get the planes to run to timetable instead of wasting money on pointless adverts. Spend the money on running your company efficiently….and paying your staff a living wage….no I thought not
Notice how you have 3 likes and also for what they what job they do on ba they get paid a sentant wage plus i work for ba and I’ve been fine plus these stuff that they make like this is safety for passengers also it’s nearly impossible to get the plane to run on a time table there may be traffic at the airport or weather problems also British airways is still running so they don’t need to put money in he company plus it’s not like these people are being paid £1 per year and also these people signed up to do this and doing this safety video is for the company it’s not like it’s for one flight so your point is wrong and your probably a 8 year old or mad parent or person that they had a bad experience with on flight also if I ever see you on a flight I may give you bad service for disrespecting the company I work for.
You have a point….they use better aircraft on the world’s most profitable route LHR - NY. BA using 25+ year old 777-200’s and the occasional 300 against Virgin’s modern A350’s and 787’s…..come on BA….up your game
I love that they used people who really do have these jobs and not actors. You can see how passionate they are about safety.
Lovely to see actual BA employees in every on-camera role in the video!
BA, this is easily the best and most funny safety video ever created, I can tell this was a massive project and it's amazing 😂
Indeed! Hi snail! Probably your only fan here 😊 you should test out the Lego firefighter aircraft

The costumes were fabulous! I especially appreciated seeing a chemise under a corset!!
that the actors are also real crew personell is so amazing
This video is quintessentially British! I love it!
It's nice to see that all British Airways employees getting involved in the safety video rather than paying actors to do it

I LOVE YOU BRITISH AIRWAYS! I can’t wait to get an opportunity to hitch a flight! I’ve never flown so yeah

Mollie 💙
Also: fantastic job from everyone involved!
I thoroughly enjoyed the final video and this making-of

But I'm also glad I don't have to get on a plane anymore.

Looks like Virgin’s PR team has moved on.
👍😂
Wall to wall ‘diversity’. Just ask the people of Southport how well that is going.
Shame the planes and service is crap

@@ElephantSprings81 I would suggest a course in English grammar first. Still, I wouldn’t expect any less from a BA stooge
Advertising makes the people buy. People buying gets the planes full. Full planes make the planes go.
It’s a snooze fest! Too long. No one is going to pay it any attention
hahaha. I'm a caller of Regency dances, and you better believe I have studied this over and over.
Virgin is better
how dare you
No
BA for life
