This actually works!! Took me 3 days to get my proper backbend!😭❤️ Day 1, was pure torture 😂 My arms would not cooperate with my body and I repeatedly fell down whenever I tried to do the back bend. Day 2, experienced the same thing but however I didn't feel much pain on my back like I did on the first day. Day 3, I was prepared for another failure. But everything took a sudden turn! I was really surprised too! Although my arms were still trembling, I could easily lift off my back ! It's Day 6 now, and I can do the back bend very easily! ❤️ Thank you so much for the awesome videos Sofie! ❤️ It really worked plus my back feels really strong too !😭😭 And if you get time, can you please make some tutorials on about Off-ice skating techniques? ❤️

This was amazing! It's been a goal of mine for a little while to get back into doing backbends! I used to do gymnastics very lightly, with the last time I did when it was 30 years ago! I thought it would take me weeks! But I was able to do and sustain it back then after watching this video! Thanks!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

This is an awesome video. I'm prepping to audition to be in a cabaret piece for my ballroom team which includes lots of backbends and flexibility. I've never done a backbend in my life, but these stretches were perfect for helping me get there comfortably and quickly. Will definitely be coming back to this constantly as I practice 😊
When doing the backbend I feel the most pain in my lower back tips for this? I used to be a cheerleader like 10 years ago and I could do backbends and backwalkovers etc unfortunately my family couldn't afford it and I had to stop after 2 years but I really hope to learn these again
The stretches are good but I recommend before going into the backbend to stretch out your wrist and arms cause if you don’t afterwards it’ll be painful.

Check out some of my arm workouts 🥰 And check out my latest back bend flow 🙏❤️ It takes time to build the arm strength, work up from level 1 where you bring the balance onto your head and then try a little more each time 😊
As long as I did in the video, or you can start off with 20-30 sec and work yourself up to 60sec and the best time to hold a position to see results is 120sec or 2 minutes. Please listen to your body though and don't push yourself passed your limits especially when it is concerning your back!! 💕
I know this is an older video so you probably won’t see this comment, but could you make a video on go strengthening exercises to prepare for a backbend? I don’t think my problem is back flexibility, I think it’s the fact that I have a very weak upper body, and am unsure as to what are the best exercises to do to isolate the arms, shoulders, and just that whole area in general.

You could try first on the wall. Also make sure to have a good amount of strength in your arms, and just keep trying, eventually you will get strong enough to get yourself up. Gaining strength could take a while 💕

Then maybe you have quite a flexible back already! I do it as a warm up to prep the back for harder stretches, but it is also a great stretch for myself and others :)
