- Officials have been warning for months that Israel’s siege and offensive are pushing the Palestinian territory into famine.
Hunger is most acute in northern Gaza, which has been isolated by Israeli forces and has suffered long cutoffs of food supplies. At least 20 people have died from malnutrition and dehydration at the north’s Kamal Adwan and Shifa hospitals, according to the Health Ministry. Most of the dead are children - including ones as old as 15 - as well as a 72-year-old man.
Particularly vulnerable children are also beginning to succumb in the south, where access to aid is more regular.

How did IOF find this body in a grave that turned out to be a hostage? Are they checking each and every grave for hostages? And I guess in death Hamas is showing the hostages dignity by burying their bodies unlike the most moral army who just run their bodies over with their tanks. I just find it strange that every time the IOF has to defend one of their many crimes they have something to show for their actions. In this case they have the body of a hostage. My heart goes out the family of this person and I am sad that he is no longer alive but I feel his death could have been prevented.
