- I made a similar video already based on this footage, but wanted to play a bit with Retime ("Fast Forwarding") and Motion Blur in DaVinci Resolve and thought this would be a good one to try it on. I also tried playing with Noise Reduction, but even on the lowest settings it sounded too muffled for my liking so I dropped it. I might want to play with the Media Mod and a wind screen in the future.
This is my first time using the Fusion tab. I also like how with the Retime Curve you can blend the transition between fast/slow.
In the original, I crossfade between passes: • 19 Karts Passed - Trac...
As I was doing it I decided I didn't really like the motion blur, so all the other transitions are just Retime'd to 800%. But as I watch it back I'm back and forth. Sometimes I like the motion blur, sometimes I like the fast forwarding alone.
Comment which one is better??

Yeah haha especially at the end, 3 seconds later and the race was over. Perfect timing and it made it even better being the last pass
Video quality is super good on this one. I have the media mod on the 9 and it is helpful but the foam wind baffles work as well and are cheap!
My favorite moment is when 47 ahead gives a bonk and clears the way, creating a wake of chaos. Scooted on through like a boss. Around 1:25
And then throws himself out of the way too a few turns later lol. Yeah I was hunting him down for multiple laps!
@@nikspeeds yeah, noticed that. He drove well for so long and then totally fucked up.
