Oh, if you are looking to do this in Google's Pixel phone, you can't, they haven't got the most basic features. You can't see list of connected device on your hotspot nor manage.
It's like they are making it easier for your shit to get hacked... it pisses me off the way that they have changed so many things that you just can't get rid of... turn off... block....etc .. then they have grayed out areas where you can't even change whatever the option is... like permissions for example..

I hope someone can help me. When I turn wifi on on my tablet, ot picks up a wifi signal from my phone labeled with my phones owners name even though I have mobile Hotspot turned off and when it's on, it's labeled a different names. How in the hell is this happening?? Samsung S20FE and Tab7

Factory reset your phone to clear all the data from previous connected devices annoying yes but it works
